Konami is Giving Away MGO Beta Codes.

Did you want to get into the Metal Gear Online Beta, but weren’t able to obtain a beta code? Well it appears that Konami has heard our cries. Konami is currently giving away beta codes to certain individuals that qualify. Simply follow this link and hopefully you’ll receive a beta code in an email. I did.

Konami also gave out additional information about the beta. You’ll be required to create a Konami ID through the Konami site. You will also have to make a gamer ID. Currently it is unknown if this is just for the beta or will be required when the game is fully released. Remember to download the beta starting April 17th. The beta will begin April 21st.

    Happy to hear that you were able to get in Dan. I had missed being able to get the code for the pre-order and was sad about it. Konami is really doing a great job with marketing MGO to PS3 owners. Sony is also taking advantage of MGS4 as well. This has ultimately turned out great for us.

    It seems that I cannot sign up for it now. Maybe I will try the system used by some people to sign up through the Konami Japan website.

    Sorry to hear that you’re unable to sign up through that means. Are you Canadian? Some people from Canada have said that they have been unable to get in

    You didn’t get in MZA? That’s horrible. I hope that you’re able to get in some other way. I wonder why you didn’t get in. Hmm…I should try to find the common links for the people that got in and those that haven’t. The most common thing for the people that haven’t gotten in so far is being from Canada. Which is quite odd if you ask me.
