The New Store Has Arrived

The new PLAYSTATION Store has been released. The update was available as early as 12:30 EST according to some reports. The new store is simply amazing. It is far more fluid than the older store. I find the set up to be much more logical and the look is definitely more appealing.
The new store did come with a bit a new content as well. The Lair pack has the analog control fix and new dragons. It also contains expanded remote play. Remember that little tip that Super Stardust HD was receiving additional content? Well, it is right there in the store. I’m downloading it as we speak. Already one of my favorite games in the store, this will easily cause me to lose countless more hours while enjoying the constant explosions in an attempt to become the top player in the world. (Currently only 205). There are also new Gran Turismo Videos.
Remember, the 2.30 update contains DTS-HDMA decoding as well.
Enjoy the store and thanks for reading.

Yup I got that Super Stardust HD info right on the money. Maybe now people will take our info a bit more seriously.

I like the new look of the store. The only thing I miss from the other store is the use of the shoulder buttons to go “forward or backwards” through the store. I was really expecting to see EchoChrome, but oh well. Other than that, I’m impressed with the new store. BTW, Sev, you called it…SSHD got an update.

I love the store, I’m still getting a few broken images, very few, takes a min to load, but I imagine they were still working on it. I’m a fan of the layout, I can see my Thursdays being even brighter now! And yes much props, you did good with the Stardust info, pat yourself on the back on that some more! Go ahead……it feels good……

Argh I wrecked my BD-rom from a faulty OS install, and I’ll be without my ps3 for 10-20 Days, but I’ve literately put the system through hell, Sony is fixing it for free, and even pre-paid my postage for me & sent me a box to send it in I’ll have to buy all this stuff when I get my sparkling refurb delivered.

How much is the Super Stardust HD update and what does it include? I hope you’re not talking about the update with in-game music and rumble because that was a while ago.

The update contains retro music, an easy setting for arcade mode, and 4 new gameplay modes. It is $4.99. My personal favorite is the new endless mode. Can’t get enough of that game. Hope this answers your question.

Definitely… thanks! I’m still have a hard time unlocking the last planet! But I think I will purchase this add-on.
I’m I the only one who really digs Rocketmen? For some reason, I play that game more than the 10 PS3 games that I own!

When I first picked up the game I could hardly get past the first planet. Now I’m able to get through the game pretty well for the most part. Which weapon do you use mainly on the last planet?
As far as Rocketmen goes, it’s not that I don’t like the game, it just didn’t seem to warrant $9.99 imo. Capcom could have released a better top down shooter imo. All this said, I will be buying Bionic Commando Rearmed when it is released..

I mostly use the flame on all the planets. I love it!

The flame is a nice weapon, I prefer ice myself
