PS3 beats the 360 in the US NPD results
They said we should wait for the May NPD results to see how GTA effected the sales of the PS3 and 360 and unlike the April NPD results, the PS3 has beaten the 360 in hardware sales for May by a margin of 22K or 12%. At first glance, this may sound unimportant but when you consider MGS4 was released yesterday, and thousands of gamers put on hold their purchase of a PS3 and have been waiting for the MGS4 PS3 bundle which was also released yesterday, this is very positive sign so expect to see a far larger margin this time next month in the June NPD results!

They may have something up their sleeve at E3 (Newton Controller?), but you can sure expect BIG things from Sony too.

Indeed, Microsoft will report big news.
Being Microsoft, i will bet that the news are :
1) Copying the idea of another.
2) Buying japanese studios
3) Buying everyone they can

Yeah you would think so. It will be interesting to see how many people held off on the 40 to get the MGS 80. Plus with deals like at Walmart, sales should shoot through the roof.
Could the PS3 double the sales of the 360 in June?

I really like the PS3+MGS4 package deal (especially Japan’s gun metal grey edition). I almost regret not waiting, but then again, I wouldn’t have been able to enjoy Warhawk for all this time.
