Rumored PLAYSTATION Store New Content (US) for June 19, 2008

Hey guys! Just checking in to let you know what’s coming to the PLAYSTATION Store this week. If you thought it’d be a slow couple of weeks leading up the E3, you are clearly mistaken. I’m here to let you know what we’ll most likely see this week on the PSN. I will keep this post updated (like I did last week and the week before) as new information pours in.
Tired of DLC for Rock Band and Guitar Hero III? Too bad, you’re getting more of that for SURE. But there’s so much other stuff, too! I think maybe we’ll get that “surprise” from Konami that some expected last week. I don’t think it was just a theme they were telling people about. We could get up to 4 demos! A full PS3 game (Fatal Interia EX). Rumored that we’ll get some Hot Shots Golf DLC and PAIN DLC! Maybe even a full PSP game as well (UMD download). Here’s the full list from my thread on the PlayStation.com forums:

- Se Ba, Ta Da!
- Game includes match between LSU and OSU on Varsity (low) difficulty

Nice post. I can’t wait for the NCAA Demo. My downfall every year. I buy both NCAA Football an Madden every single year. Hopefully EA steps their game up this year. Also I hope the LingerInShadows is there. I can’t wait for that.

damn this is a pretty heavy update, I’ll be happy if at least 80% makes it in, again thank you PSLS for the nice preview.

@cell989,
You’re welcome. I’m hoping to see just SOME of this, too!
June 18, 2008 at 7:23 pm
Oh, btw, looking at the PAIN Post that was taken down (see next article on PSLS)… maybe we won’t get Nigel & Theme tomorrow.

@enewtabie,
NO. that was posted on May 15. I was referring to his post on the PlayStation.Blog, which we recovered here: http://playstationlifestyle.net/2008/06/18/pain-producers-post-on-the-playstationblog/
June 18, 2008 at 7:56 pm
Has there been a 1.67 update since May?I don’t think so. Must have added some things to the update to bump it up.
June 18, 2008 at 8:00 pm
oh enewtabie,
i see you were showing me the version number. you’ll see that the original PAIN blog post on that update said Pain v1.70 (it’s in the URL). But they later changed it to v1.67. So it’s been a while but who knows what version it will be when released tomorrow. You’re probably right - but it’s kinda minute in the bigger scheme of things.

“SS make scee give us linger please.”
Ok - I just got off the phone with an SCEE rep. They had no idea we even wanted it. All I had to say was please.
haha j/k, obviously
June 18, 2008 at 8:43 pm
It’d be hilarious if we did ask for linger and they gave us “The Cranberries - Linger” for rock band or something instead.
June 18, 2008 at 8:44 pm
@ SS, LOL….
That sure was nice of SCEE…
I wonder if anyone will get your last hint?
Also… I you got a PM from me @ every forum in existence. lol
