“Leaked” Trophy and Gamercard Pics are REAL…

Just giving all our loyal readers a heads up. The “leaked” pictures of Trophies, and PSN Gamercard, are indeed REAL. Naturally, I cannot divulge how I know this. I am, however, willing to put myself out there and personally state for the record that these are in fact the real deal. Normally we call things rumors here @ PlayStationLifeStyle. Right now I am calling this FACT.
There you have it guys…it’s our first glimpse of Trophies on the PSN. This is a very exciting time to be a PS3 owner!

if this is in the profile maybe the 3rd tab is the personal information.. who knows… but I wanted a full profile page better than this. Just my opinion

Just letting out my jokester side….
However, I am not at all joking about the authenticity of these other two pics… They are REAL.
Maybe the 3rd tab is being held back, because it offers something that hasnt been discussed yet.

As much as I would like to say yes, and give you guys a date. I cant.
I wasnt told a date by this person, and PlayStationLifeStyle.net doesnt announce release dates anymore.
Dates change too easily, and it makes us look bad if something gets delayed.

I think it looks good. And the first tab, I will assume will look much better when you have some trophies. Theres a lot of empty space between the avatar and where it says Level 1 and Trophies 0.
This could, and this is pure speculation, consist of some pictures of the last trophies, or even last games playd, as you see on the 360 gamertag.

They’ll look awesome because right now there is nothing on them but when they are it will look cool. I also have some info on it’s authenticity. As you can see, these images originated from different posters, but when you look at the two, the boxes use the exact same color scheme, have the R1> icon in the same location, are the same shape and have the blue ONLINE icon in the same spots. Unless the two people worked together it could be bogus, but coming from 2 different people only confirms a little bit more…although Sev saying it’s real is PRETTY MUCH 100% confirmed LOL unless Sony pulls it out last minute which I would seriously doubt.

Sev quick question, you say these are real and you say u cant say why. I can understand that. Just quick question: Lots of people are saying the images look like ass and they suck. Have you seen anything where these images are actually displaying something, and if so does it look better. Because I’m Sorry, but those are definately not Sony’s style if you feel my drift.

@sev1512 I am not dealing with the avatar it is just the total graphics look a little underwhelming as to what the graphics is possible…someone on another forum stated he hoped they looked more like the trophys in the HOME trailer…and I would want to agree. I realize this is the “beta” sneak peak but I vote for more 3-D realism even the fonts look a little Atari 2600ish…

I looked at them again and finally realized what I feel is missing…..COLOR the card looks dull because of the black/grey backround and no color except for the trophys.

This is an unbelievable improvement. I think they are delaying it becuase there are bugs and adding new features to it. Ill take that.

I’ll laugh if I boot up Ratchet and Clank Future and have already earned all the trophies, hopefully that isn’t the case and it will give me more reason to play through, that and Uncharted since those are the only two games I’ve ever earned everything in

Ive heard that the FW update 2.4 will come out around July 2nd. I cant seem to find the link to this. The origanal release was June 18th. It did get pushed back due to a major bug. So as long as there arent any more bugs to be found we should look forward to July 2ndish…

When i compare the two, i think the first image is a fake. There are some differences between the two. Maybe the first one is a concept one. I’ll demonstrate later. The forums are down again.

The games will have to be patched. For those that get patched, I certainly don’t hope they will just be based on the gamesaves, unless that part of the gamesaves are locked to users. Because let’s face it. A lot of cheating people will just download saves and that’s not fear. Not that I care that much, but I still want it to be fear.
The only game I can think of that will give out trophies without replaying the game is Devil May Cry 4. That game have accomplishments, that may or may not be tied into the trophysystem. I don’t think that is confirmed. But why I think it might be tied in with the trophy system is that it wasn’t just gamesaves with that game. It was also a copyprotected networks game savefile which stored your own and your friends accomplishments.
On a sidenote, the accomplishments were the same as the achievements in the 360 version.
The way I hope it will be is that you need a set amount of accomplishment points in order to get the bronze, silver, gold and platinum trophies. That would be awesome, and an improvement over the 360 achievements.
I’m stoked to get information from Sony on this. Really hope they will tell us some details soon.

DMC4 might be the only game that is built to give trophies retroactively (probably got that word wrong), if they take it from the copyprotected network save.
I hope and think a lot of games will get patched, and that you have to replay them in order to get trophies. Then everybody would start at 0. If they were to use gamesaves, they have to have a system that you can’t just download other peoples saves and get trophies, but I doubt they have a system for that at this point. Maybe except DMC4.

Revealing Uncharted 2 would be awesome. Loved the first game. I hope FW 2.4 comes before E3, but if it don’t, it would be kinda cool if they reveal it at the first pressconference and say: You can now download 2.40. That would be cool.
And maybe some details on Home, when to expect it and stuff like that. Isn’t Sony supposed to have a big surprise for us at E3?

Uncharted you said ? i love it, one of the best console game ever done.
