PREVIEW - Mercenaries 2: World In Flames
EDGE has a preview up for the upcoming open-world action game, Mercenaries 2: World In Flames.
Apparently, Pandemic is trying to disassociate themselves and their new game with GTA IV. Will the explosions, eye-candy, and all-around shameless fun be enough to help this title through the gauntlet of the gaming media? Is there something this time around that will make Mercenaries a lasting memory for all who play it?

I liked the first one and was really happy to see they are making a second (when they announced), but now its just kinda of… blah. Dont know if Ill get it or not.

I’ve had my eye on this game for a while now. This game looks badass! Isn’t a demo on it’s way? Hope so.

This game is gonna be much better then the 1st. Co-op missions with online access. Wicked. The 1st game never got it’s props for some reason. The power of next-gen systems is what will make this game pop. Just wait.
COD4? Ha.

I agree. I never heard of this game until I got wind of the PS3 version. I hear the first one was hella fun. And I agree– the new systems will definitely boost this franchise’s popularity… that is, if Mercs2 is as good as it looks.
