Official PlayStation 3 Bluetooth Headset Announced [UPDATE]
The Official PS3 Bluetooth Headset will come bundled with the retail copy of SOCOM: Confrontation. Word is that it will eventually be released separately. From what we have seen, it looks very sexy and should be on the wishlists of many PlayStation 3 owners. Prices and release dates have not yet been revealed. It also comes with a stand which you can use to charge it via a USB connection.

I am assuming since it will be bundled with SOCOM, that the bundle will cost $60.
SOCOM PSN version will most likely follow GT5:P and Warhawk and cost $39.99 at release.
So I would assume that the headset will cost around $29.99 when its finally sold separately…
Lets just hope this one works well, since the MGS4 headset has been said to suck.

I will probably get the blu-ray Socom with the headset. I already have 2 headsets, but one is broke and I could use my one now with my phone then. Hopefully it is good!

I heard mixed reviews about the MGS4 headset. Some said it was good, but others said it was bad. I head more saying it was bad though. It does look pretty cool though.
btw, Joystiq is reporting that the SOCOM bundle will cost $80 but are saying that is a rumor.

I like the headset, but I’m not sure I want to buy it with SOCOM. Hopefully the price won’t jump too much when it becomes available separately.

Loving the look and style. One thing i hate about the one i have now is its got to have its own powercord plug into the wall. USB powered stand is awesome!!! I really hope the quality of the sound is good.

Heard about this 3 months ago, everyone thought it was BS then. Good to know I was right. In the Core video for Socom Con they mention an new headset to be packed in.
