Firmware 2.40 Video Walkthrough is Up - Part 1

Hi everyone! We know you’re all patiently waiting for the next PS3 firmware update, v2.40, which includes XMB access in-game and Trophy support. The good news is that it’s coming soon, and you can now see how accessing the XMB from in-game will work in this video demo.
Shortly, we’ll be posting another video here on the PlayStation.Blog that shows the Trophy feature in action for the first time. At that time we’ll provide even more details on how firmware v2.40 will enhance your PLAYSTATION 3 experience.

It is better than I thought it would be. I was afraid they would just stick us with in-game messages (which is all they actually promised, I believe).

the same way I was thinking. it’s better I can think before. The ingame music look awesome and the blue tooth headset thing is a plus. Everything in this update it’s just perfect.

In the last paragraph and second bullet it says that there will be new info at 8 est, 7 cst, and so on.

Its looking far better that expected , i love that thing that he is playing GT Prologue and then from the mighty ingame XMB he opens PJM .

I think one of them is jefPS or jeffPS, im not sure, i tried adding jefPS on my ps3 and im waiting for him to accept!!
