PSP Firmware 4.05 Is Live

UPDATE: FW 4.05 is now LIVE

Here is a nice way to start off E3 week…

Eric Lempel, just announced through the PS Blog that PSP firmware 4.05 will be released very soon.

Eric Lempel writes:

I wanted to give a quick heads up to everyone that a new PSP firmware update, v4.05, will be released soon. We know that more and more of you are listening to music on your PSP, and this update will add new visualizers for music playback, among other features. Enjoy!

    I’m so so curious what’ll be going down there. He was really pushing the ‘bring your PSP’ pretty hard. Will anybody here be making the visit?
    I won’t be, CA is too far for me to drive to from Ohio, lol.

    I don’t know if I am going I don’t live to far away but I RSVP’d and haven’t heard back yet. So I don’t know if I made the cut yet. I also just heard that they just linked the PSN ID’s & the PS Forums together so that is a cool new feature that was also just added. Although at this moment the PS Forums are down for Matinence.

    I just noticed it also added a Sleep Function to the PSP’s Internet Radio at least I don’t think that was there before. It goes in increments of 15 min up to 2hrs. Now that is a cool feature :-)

    Ohh NVM I checked the Instructions and it seems that it might have been there since F.W. 3.93 sorry :-(

    Take some pictures at King Taco.
    It’d be cool to have some pictures of Sev & Chris with Jeff Rubenstein, Deb Mars, and others who will be there.

    Hi,

    I just downloaded the Firmware 4.05 and upgraded my PSP Firmware 3.90 but now I can’t load any game at all.
