I live in Puerto Rico with a US account because we are part of the US and… I don’t see the video store. If I can’t use the store because the IP address of PR and only works in the 50 states then I will be more than piss off

  2. BigPete7978 Says:

No the store is actually a bit hard to find. It is a button in the upper left area of the screen next to “Games”, it says “Video”.

  3. BigPete7978 Says:

You can actually see it in the picture. See the two buttons under the logo and where it says Playstation Store?

  4. Bus Says:

the video store will probably replace my comcast bill once it gets the content pipe open to full throttle..
any word on the rental period? watch it once or have it x hours?
I tried to d/l a family guy episode but my store has no pics yet and it gave me an error like most psn revamps, but this looks like it certainly be a system seller!
    nice one sony!

  5. SomeonePR Says:

well… nope, the same button as always, the store top… nothing more, nothing less…

  6. Hando Says:

The video store is very nice, lots of content for just starting off.

  7. SomeonePR Says:

oookkk… in the PC I can access it but in my ps3 don’t… can someone exlain it to me? or it’s something to do that I’m downloading something without be update it.?

  8. NinjaDude116 Says:

yea ps3 conference rocked.best games r yet to come.do any of u guys know if there was any killzone 2 news.

  9. jrriddle Says:

Well looks like Canada gets left out in the cold again (pun intended). No video store here either.
Back to AppleTv I guess. Looks like Sony doesn’t want my money.
I am surprised they didn’t say where the video store would be available.
No Netflix on the Xbox for us either.

  10. NinjaDude116 Says:

that sucs.sony should make content available for everyone.why dont they?

  11. colonel110 Says:

    @ someonePR

I’m in the same situation as you. I live in Mexico and it doesn’t show up on my ps3, just in the pc, but i’m actually in a worse position, I cannot download anything from the PC store.

Sony should have made it available to us just like everything from the US. Maybe Europe and Japan gets delayed because they have different content, languages?? but in Mexico is the same thing.

Actually Sony Mexico sucks ass so bad is not funny.

  12. SomeonePR Says:

Yeah I see that colonel…. in the PC I can download nothing either… it’s just listened… I really hate it. I think is something about IP or something for me… I’m angry with sony.

  13. DevonTheDude Says:

    @SomeonePR

create a dummy US account then, create a new user and say that you live in the US not PR, even though it’s a US common wealth. If you have a US credit card it should be cool with a dummy account. Hell I have 5 dummy accounts to access different PSN stores all over the world, can’t buy anything w/o a PSN card or a credit card linked to that region though.

  14. SomeonePR Says:

    @Devon

All puertorricans use an US account because we can even use our credit cards in the US accounts… they just bloking us

  15. canguy69 Says:

Doesn’t seem to work. IP address must get checked.

  16. sagacyte Says:

Here in Ecuador it’s the same. No “video” link in PS3 Store.
I DO have an US-related account, even funds in my wallet and all.

This reeks of the MGO Beta, where IP addresses got blocked.

If this is so, this is a FANTASTIC way to begin that “South American support” Sony was talking about in today’s conference.

    First FFXIII and then this??

  17. DevonTheDude Says:

    try this url

    http://store.playstation.com/video/index.vm

  18. SomeonePR Says:

    @Devon…

Like I said I can view the moview in the video store of the PC but I can’t download nothing… it just said not available in your region or country… thanks anyway… I will go now, see you tomarrow…. bad day…

  19. Fisel Says:

disappointed in Sony for the second time…..No Canada support. They BETTER get that up and running for Canada.

  20. shoot77 Says:

I think that theres over 266 movies and a bunch of TV shows and some
have a least one full season

  21. PiXL1983 Says:

No love for the UK either :(

  22. Callum Says:

What the hell.. why the hell don’t the uk have this video store..what a joke!!

  23. A.D. Says:

So I went to Devon’s link and clicked Canada, and I see:
“PLAYSTATION®Store is not available in the selected country or region.”
    Whatever Sony, lol
I’ll keep my money, I guess.

  24. NinjaDude116 Says:

well there isnt much support in other regions because cmon it takes time.but i dont see how it would not be available in Europe and Japan faster.

  25. zerock Says:

well Puerto Rico should be supported it’s part of the US..

We have the iTunes US Store working here… so why this is not working is beyond,… even the deceased Sony Connect worked here.

  26. conor Says:

its the licensing they have with studios that keeps them out of countries.

  27. Richie Says:

Here in mexico still no support for downloadable content and I’m honestly very pissed of as well seeing that sony sends a computer to answer my complaints about making allowing billing addresses here in MX. I agree with that guy from ecuador. This is definitely a great way to start “focusing more on Latin America”. I will be soo pissed of wth sony if Mexico is not in their plans.

  28. raffaeollo Says:

the video store is only and exclusive for the U.S. users ,even if u have a us account and your in mexco, pto rico ,ecuador and canada it wont work.
    sony suckssssss!!
