Rumored New PLAYSTATION® Store (US) Content for 7/24/08 [Update]

Hey guys, I know it’s been a few weeks, but I’m back to give you my predictions for the new content to be released on the store this week. With at least 2 full games, 1 demo, and DLC for your favorite music games – this week shouldn’t disappoint.
As always, you can keep up with the daily changes in upcoming content over at my thread on the PlayStation.com forums.
Oh and one more thing, next week’s store update should be INTERESTING. We could possibly see the debut of “Life with PlayStation”, Linger In Shadows released, a Madden 09 demo, and the full PixelJunk Eden game (with trophies)! Here are this week’s details:
- Scheduled to arrive on PSN in July
- Update 1: PSU mailing from June 20 indicates this game is “coming soon”
- Update 2: Posting on PlayStation.Blog indicates that the game will be released on July 31, despite other gaming blogs announcing it would be out on July 24.
- Price: $9.99 USD

I liked the sneak peak. Im curious if there will actually be a Madden demo, since there wasnt last year. Debut of Life with Playstation will also be cool.
As for this week, will be picking up the PJ Eden demo to see if its any good. Id probably buy it anyways just for the trophies LOL. Dont have Rock Band but a very good DLC release IMO.

Anyone now if the Siren: Blood Curse will come out in blu ray disk just like gran turismo 5 prologue.

Supposedly it’s only supposed to come out on Blu-ray disc in Japan. You could import it, seeing as how the PS3 is region free on PS3 games.

I’ve used play-asia and ncsx, you can even get JP PSN cards to buy from the JP PSN store along with BD games.

I don’t have any credible info on new movies. The only new videos you might get are new Music Videos for SingStar. EU is getting 33-ish new today in the SingStore. Not sure how many will come across the pond.
As far as official Sony movie/tv store, yeah I don’t know.

Not related to the US store, but I checked the Japanese PSN store today, and it had a Street Fighter IV Theme and Wallpaper. The theme is new, so it does recognize the Trophy and Internet Search icons.
