Uncharted Trophies Coming August 22nd

Talk PlayStation were listening to the PlayStation Nation Podcast when they heard trophies will be making their way into this popular game on August the 22nd. So they then contacted Naughty Dog who confirmed:
“Yes, trophies will be released on August 22 if all goes to plan”
Keep your fingers and toes crossed all does go to plan!

My finger and toes were crossed for early Aug, i just hope PJ Eden carries my trophy hungry till Aug 22nd. I have been waiting since last Dec to beat this game! (the game for me, was put on hold for trophies) lol

depen ds on where you are, in the US its not a greatest hits, but its a platinum hit in Europe… I hope it’ll be a Greatest hits in NA soon, then I can buy it and have some trophies to start my collection with.

Damn it! I wanted them sooner! I didn’t want to have to wait that long to play through the game. pfht… Just gives me more time for PJE and [hopefully] Warhawk.

Not yet but i recon they will come. I think most developers who will not add Trophies to the major games will have already stated their position.

Joystiq is reporting that they cited the wrong source in the podcast:
“Update: Not so fast, turns out the information cited by TalkPlayStation.com was PS3 Fanboy’s Andrew Yoon on the PlayStation Nation Podcast. At around 56 minutes in, Andrew simply reiterated what Naughty Dog’s Evan Wells already told us: that the developer was targeting the “middle of next month” to add Trophy support to Uncharted. Additionally, a Naughty Dog rep told us that, while August 22nd very well may be the date, they wouldn’t know … it hasn’t been chosen yet.”
