Rumored New PLAYSTATION® Store (US) Content for 7/31/08

Hey everybody, you didn’t think that just because PlayStation LifeStyle is refocusing our content that we’d get rid of one of our most popular (and accurate) features, did ya? As we’ve mentioned over the past few days, PlayStation LifeStyle will continue to BREAK news – just not LEAK news. This info is ALWAYS backed up with sources and is never based on insider information. Just some of our hard work and independent research.
With that said, this week is going to be pretty solid for everyone. The highlight of the week is definitely the release of PixelJunk Eden with full YouTube uploading support and something else…I forgot. Oh yeah, trophy support! Sports fans should have two demos from EA, including Madden NFL 09 and their new boxing title - Facebreaker. NASCAR 09 fans (both of you) may find some new DLC this week and we all might be surprised with some cool Soul Calibur IV DLC. Mix in the ubiquitous Rock Band DLC and a gaggle of new themes, and we have a great Thursday for the PLAYSTATION® Store.
NOTE: We had expected Life with PlayStation to be released this week, based on Jack Tretton’s announcement at E3 and the new, ambiguous PS3 Firmware 2.42… but we haven’t received any more information from SCEA leading up to the release.

- Demo will include 3 playable characters (Ice, Sparrow, and Steve)
- Matches of 1 90-second round (w/ optional rematch)
- Demo also includes practice mode and EA’s Game Face technology

Also, keep in mind I’m trying to be more accurate. There could be another demo and also slight possibility of Life with PlayStation. I’m looking into those as we speak.

Are we sure we’re not getting Ratchet Quest for Booty? I didn’t think we were, just was hopeful anyway. That means insomniac will miss their 07/08 target from their music video.

Good call. I’ll try to update it but the FORMATTING is SUCH a pain! I probably could update that the demo is already out as well. It’s just been up there for a while since I bring the info straight from my forum post.

You guys are honestly SO far off. You just don’t “get it” do you? We are going to be more accurate, continue to research and break news/RUMORS, we will take info we would normally “leak” -check it- and you will see that info from us still, first. In order to get more info, you need more contacts and legitimacy.
Come on guys, I thought our readers were smarter than this. As I’ve mentioned many times before. Just wait. You will continue to see more from us that is different from other sites. BTW, no other major site out there has a list of what’s coming to the store tomorrow. We were the first to let you know about the Madden demo confirmation. We’re looking into Life with PlayStation, another demo that I hinted at above, Soul Calibur IV customization DLC, etc, etc, etc.
So far all of our posts are the same as before the shift in direction. We will just begin focusing more on the LifeStyle aspect. More things are being added not necessarily taken away.

haha I also hint at more info here before I update my thread there. That’s two people so far though in the comments that haven’t realized that I am the one who keeps both lists up-to-date.

Not sure how old this is. but I just looked in the New Releases section of the Store and Warhawk is now there as a Greatest Hit at $29.99.

All those sites that said Qore Episode 003 was coming, Facebreaker was not coming, Life with PlayStation was coming, etc… Come on. You know better than to go to other sites!
