Rumored New PLAYSTATION® Store (US) Content for 8/07/08 [Update]

Hey everybody, time for the weekly rumored new content post. Last week, we did EXTREMELY well and were very close with our rumored content post, over a day before the official store post went live. PixelJunk Eden made last week awesome just by itself, but this week we have a little more variety in the content.
This week we should be seeing a new episode of Qore (subscribers will get R2 beta invite). We’ll have at least one demo for 1942: Joint Strike and possibly another for EA Sports’ Tiger Woods 09. Speaking of EA, they may also be bringing you some NASCAR 09 DLC this week. This should nicely compliment the new DLC for Battlefield: Bad Company (woo hoo Conquest mode!) along with the DLC for your favorite music games as both Rock Band and Guitar Hero III get some new content this week. To top it all off, we are introduced to the Talkman Travel interactive travel guide for PSP.

The Battlefield: Bad Company DLC won’t be in the store. It’s just a patch.

Maybe Star Wars demo this week too… I really don’t know. It’s only been reported that we’ll get it sometime this month. Could be anytime!

Considering LucasArts released LEGO Indiana Jones demo unannounced, the same will probably happen for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.

There is a 08/09 comparison video on the PS store. I was going to write an analysis about it but I never got around to it. Maybe Ill do that today.

Hmm will just have to see what appears. I wonder why they would release a piece of software like Talkman Travel? I mean it sounds like something that would go great with the GPS Accessory but we in the U.S. don’t even have that Accessory yet. I guess it would be cool if we were traveling to either Paris,Rome or Tokyo. I personally don’t see this selling to well. Although I would be glad to be wrong just so they would bring out more unique software to the PSN.

One more thing – if you’ve been keeping an eye on the Japanese Store, I wouldn’t be surprised if we see our own chance for a Beta popping up here in today’s update.

I guess there wasnt really going to be any except the 1942 demo, but i guess sony believes everyone will be happy with the chance to get into 2 beta’s with this one lol

the civ rev content is up you have to go to redeem to enter a code as it is not for sale in the us yet however it is available to those with the codes

anytime i saw you were playing singstar…. do you have civ rev? we should play if so also what about bfbc or gta ? i play gta with whoelse every once in awhile it would be cool to get you on there two
