CNET: A Look Into Home

I like the looks of that.
CNET posted an article about Home today. It gives readers a nice explanation of what Home is about. My favorite line from the article is:
Sony’s Home is one of the most highly anticipated titles on the PlayStation 3, and it has the potential to revolutionise the way users interact online. However, there’s no doubt it’s taken a long time to come to fruition.
I could not think of a better description of Home personally. I also cannot say that to some it has felt like it has not been quite a long wait.
The article explains how Home brings together three of Sony’s areas of expertise and how each of them are a part of Home. These areas are movies, music, and games.
Feel free to go over and give the article a read. I think it is short and sweet. With the Home Expanded Applications in, I’m sure the anticipation for Home is once again reaching astronomic levels.

Nice. With the 2 new additions of Home items added to the PSN and now CNET has a new article, I really think Home is near… very near– like inside two months near. That one little excerpt sounds good.
I’m STILL really looking forward to Home. I used to be a Home forum regular on the SCEA forums, which you guys tole me away from. :p

It hasnt seemed like that long of a wait to me, but that’s just me. I’m still looking forward to it.
Home is what I’ve been really waiting for for some time, I truly hope it lives up to the hype.
I saw the link in the PSforums thread and the article was written in the AU and it is well written but I am having a hard time seeing it on the US site for Cnet. I did a search for Sony Home and no such article appears in the results.

It’s in your best interest to avoid the PLAYSTATION Home section of the official PlayStation.com forums. I love those forums, but that particular area is just brain drain.
Tell me about it SS, I spent 6+ months there correcting all the misconceptions and rumors that some less-than-genius people decided to post.
I’ve been over there lately. It is a bucket of fun. Actually it is a mess. Tons of false statements about getting acceptance emails and other things of that sort.
There are a few good threads though.

Still nothing new about the product. Of course I wasn’t expecting much anyway. I just want the title because I hardly want to spend time away from my PS3 but I don’t always want to play it. I want to socialize online because I hate society more or less. It’d be crazy if they did a DDR sort of arcade inside home. Get me a compatible dance mat and I’ll probably never turn off my PS3 XD
Home will suck just like the PS3.
