Sony knows that we all want to go Home
Just a reminder to all of you out there that are slightly depressed about not getting into the Home Extended Beta:
- There’s going to be at least one more wave of invites
- Some speculation is floating around stating that the Home Open Beta will be starting next month
So cheer up! Not much longer!

i have lost faith on getting in to this beta, i wont get my hopes up ,il just waite until the end of next month.
I still never got in on the second wave… hopefully the 3rd time is the charm.
I would bet that if Open Beta does come next month my guessing would put it at the Tokyo Game Show weekend 9th to 12th, with 11th & 12th being the days for the public to interact with what the dev’s have ready to release… But the 9th is a thursday so we will have to wait and see. But again I have been predicting in the forums that with all the information released in interviews by SCEE’s Reeves and SCEI’s Hirai you could at minimum expect some word or release at the Tokyo Game Show…

thanks, it is pretty cool but you can tell that it is a beta. not because there is a bunch of prooblems with it but they dont have everything in there so there is not a ton to do yet

I played the E3 build, it had much more things to do, (ie: remote controlled mini boats in the plaza) as well as Warhawk, Resistance, and Uncharted Home spaces.
Home has some amazing potential, its now up to, Sony, developers, and users to make it a great service.
Hopefully v1.00 has TV’s, picture frames, and radios.
Jeez, I just don’t get it… I’m playing online games every day (discs & PSN) and most night if I’m not too tired after work, and I still have yet to be invited. I’m their prototypical client, in that I would be able to beta test Home a LOT and give feedback. Supposedly the Home theme application tracks our online usage and log the amount of time we’re online (which, for me, is ample), but there are people on my friends list that aren’t even on half as much as I am and they still got invited. I’m just really disappointed that I’ve not been asked to join yet. I sure hope the “beta” goes public or open next month because I doubt I’ll get invited with this next/current wave of invites.
