"oh but you get the ability to play the mods in the first place!"
(yea by yourself in which you must have atleast one extra memory device. You also need alot of time since you can only Download one mod at at a time per memory device. You then need to import them one by one. Alot of work for one mod, imagine trying out several. )
"Your friends can download the mods!"
(cool I can play with 2 other people whom I hope have the same version of the mod I have. Online community is dead on the PS3. Due to Mic problems, LAG, and the inability of ~80% other users to even know what mods are. )
"Well atleast you can create mods and import them for your enjoyment!"
(Wait I have to buy the PC version of UT3 as well. Let alone have the right system requirements to run the UE3 engine)
Mods should of been submitted to Epic. Epic then should of released them with the help of Sony on the Playstation store for free. Thus making the mods more like extra DLC from the community. Why they only released one map pack was beyond me..
Mark Reins commented a couple times about doing more map packs in which were dependent on community voting, but that was months ago. I bet Epic threw out the PS3 development kits as soon as the game came out, to work solely on Gears of War 2.
God forbid Epic cared about the PS3. Then again Epic would never bite the hand that feeds them (Microsoft) Hence I lost a lot of respect for such horrible regards to EPIC's crown achievement in which got EPIC to where they are today. Pathetic, keep your games off the ps3.

Ut3 failed in January. Epic makes a game that supports mods, yet make it such a hassel to get them?
