Vote to Save the LBP Beta Levels
Written by Chris Rah Osiris
Media Molecule and Sony are giving you the opportunity to decide whether or not the levels created by beta testers for play when the game is launched later this month. US beta testers can vote at the LBP CNN Site. European voters can vote on the European LittleBigPlanet Forums. So far the vast majority of voters are all for keeping the content. I love the levels that have been created so far. Keep the levels, save the work, and please go vote. (Vote to keep the levels).

As much work as some people put into these levels, I think it’s only fair to keep them going. I don’t see what it would hurt to keep them either.

In all honesty I like the level I created, but if it got deleted I could careless. It only took me a couple of hours last Sunday. But that being said some of the level’s I have seen if they were mine I would want to keep them. Some look like it took days not hours. So I can see where this would be a major sticking point for some.

If Playstation Lifestyle was doing this, though, they’d scrap all the beta user-created content no matter how high the vote in favour of keeping them was. Then they’d watch out for anyone who complained and delete their PSN IDs.
Thankfully neither Media Molecule nor Sony are complete scum.
