This Week’s Blu-Cast
Written by Chris Rah Osiris

Could this be the one?
So much for Blu-Ray not having any big name titles. This week certainly goes a long way to putting that to rest. The Matrix Trilogy makes its long awaited debut on the format. I will not use this article to discuss the virtues or the shortcomings of the sequels, but I will praise the inclusion of the Animatrix animes. I’m leaving it at that. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull brings Indiana Jones to HD for the first time. Again, I will not tell you how great or not great this movie is…but buy it so we can hurrry up and get the first 3 out on Blu-Ray. I am buying Casino, and that is all I have to say about that. American Gangster is also going to be a part of of my Blu collection. Eastern Promises was good enough to possibly get a purchase, no promises though.
I told you so. Now get on out there and buy these great movies
Blu-Ray.com does an excellent job of reviewing the movies and provides great stills for your viewing pleasure. Be sure to check them out.
P.S. Pete, I expect to see a Huzzah or 2 in the comments. Your movie is out.

I may pick up Indiana. I saw it in theaters and enjoyed it, but was still a bit rather disappointed. Doubt I’ll pick up the Matrix Collection (at least for now) as I still have the DVD collection.
I don’t know, man, that Indiana Jones was pretty god awful. What was that part with him swinging with the monkeys?
Huzzah. Finally American Gangster is on Blu ray. I have yet to even see the movie. The wait is finally over. I will also be picking up Casino most likely.
WOOHOO! The Matrix on Blu-ray! I gotta watch that ASAP
ZOMG Really? Wow, I would have thought Amazon was going to e-mail me when The Ultimate Matrix Collection finally released on Blu-Ray…I gotta get that!
By not giving us your opinion youre giving us your opinion.
If you want to trash on the movies just do it. Just dont beat around the bush..
@Matt
I actually liked the Matrix sequels. I didn’t love them, but when you watch all 3 movies in a row, you can rally have a good time.
I thought Indiana Jones was a pretty good, but not amazing. Not trashing or praising, just my feelings.
