This Week’s Blu-Cast

This week really should be James Bond week. The former record holder (Iron Man will surpass it, if it hasn’t already) for the highest selling blu-ray title, Casino Royale is going to be released as a Collector’s Edition. This is accompanied by 6 Bond titles being released on Blu-Ray for the first time. James Bond fans are rejoicing, I’m sure. I personally thought that Pierce Brosnan’s Bond films were a bit underwhelming, but Casino Royale brought me back. Quantum of Solace should only continue my renewed love affair.
The Incredible Hulk will be released this week. You should take note of the green trim, nice touch. Canada is getting Sin City, and people have the nerve to say that Canada doesn’t get anything. Sweeney Todd is making an appearance as well. Nothing is better suited for blu-ray than a movie about a murderous barber, lol. I’m joking of course. JohnnyDeep does an amazing job and the movie looks great; The screen shots do at least.

As much as I love James Bond films, I think I’m going to have to pas on them this week.

To me, Pierce Brosnan is Bond, simply because I grew up with him as Bond. It doesn’t really matter, they’re all fun movies to watch.

That happened to me too, but I also like Daniel Craig. I think I’ll be getting this for December.
