Having a problem with online play. Game freezes when a challenge is accepted and it is synchonizing. Any ideas why this is happening? Happens every single time.

Here’s how I fixed mine…. I went and deleted the HVB from my “Saved Data Utility”, and then opened the game back up and said yes to the online agreement. Wham, it worked. Hope this works for someone else!

@michelle I believe the stats are not working properly, so they may need a update. Also I haven’t been able to connect to a game. It freezes every time I try anyone else having this issue

I’m having a problem. I’ve played tons of games with my friend online, but I still haven’t received the “Play 3 games online” trophy. Any hints?

I’ve never actually heard of the R1 trick, I’ll have to try that out next time I’m home. However I doubt it’ll change the way I play much as I’m pretty comfortable with holding my spin finger in place while I bowl.

Well R1 doesn’t really do anything, it’s a button you can press down though to keep your finger planted so the nook of your finger can hold for a great spin. I would like to do a tip guide, but honestly I’ve only played 10 games and my average is 150… I can’t provide that many tips. I’m still learning.

I LOVE these trophy guides (makaiookami has a great point – maybe he’d be willing to write up a guide like he described for bowling, didn’t know the R1 thing).

I REALLY love the new patch. I bought HVB at launch, but haven’t played it much until the online was patched in. Grade A work!

I have a question.. Are ALL games going to get a trophy guide? I know you love making trophy guides it’s just that this one is a bit too self explanatory. I think a “Guide to becoming a stronger bowler” or something would be more effective.

You know tips like resting your index finger on the R1 button when putting spin on the ball that way you can’t push down or release R2 button any more keeping a perfect spin regardless of your follow through… tips on how the angle of approach affects the outcome, the affect balls have and their weights, etc…

To a newcomer to HVB/Average bowler in real life… It’s the more technical things you learn after a while of playing the game that helps get these trophies… not just basics on these kinds of trophies.

Good work though. You are diligent when it comes to trophies. You don’t have to make the guide I’m talking about if you don’t want to, just thought I’d give you some helpful criticism.
