LittleBigPlanet DLC in Hong Kong/Japan PS Store [UPDATE]

For those of you with Hong Kong or Japanese PSN Accounts…head over to each respective PS Store, both of which now have LittleBigPlanet DLC available for download.
UPDATE: It appears that LittleBigPlanet DLC is region locked, as once I logged back into my US account to use these costumes, they were not available in the ‘pop-it’. Hopefully this content makes its way to the US PlayStation Store today, which we think is a pretty safe bet.
The Hong Kong PS Store has 3 costumes total available for download, two of which are free.
- RARE 1st Week Costume (HK $38.00)
- Spaceman Costume (FREE)
- Halloween Pumpkin Costume(FREE)
The Japanese PS Store has 3 costumes also, the spaceman, the Halloween pumpkin, and also a ‘piposaru’ costume.

HK $38.00 for a T Shirt! That’s insane! Lol…
Still, it converts to roughly $5 which IMHO is a bit much for a piece of digital material that really has no baring on anything. But alas… I know I’d still purchase it. :p

I bet the MM shirt will likely the week after (or whenever Ragdoll Kung Fu launches).

We’ll be getting the Halloween and Space Suits next week, no today.
So we get the Halloween costume AFTER Halloween? Sounds like someone dropped the ball…(probably the same guy that is handling the LBP server)
This is pretty cool. According to the blog we can expect a lot of DL content every week and $1 isn’t to bad for a costume. It might not be ideal by o well.

No date has been given yet, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see it by the years end. Having the ‘rare’ MM shirt released the same day actually makes pretty good sense.
