Since it was first announced at GDC ’07, LittleBigPlanet has captured the eyes and hearts of many. It has won countless ‘Best of Show’ awards since it was first revealed and will almost certainly be a ‘Game of the Year’ candidate to many.
The title was initially planned to launch the week of the 19th, but due to a quick recall and an even quicker resupply of the game due to possibly offensive lyrics the game was pushed back a week. The wait was well worth it. LBP has one of the most unique experiences a game can offer. The single player levels alone are enough to pass the game off to many, but that’s not even the heart of it. The heart of LBP is community. LBP could possibly be the best game to create a game with, and that’s where the fun begins. We have all thought about what we would do if we could make our own games, and LBP gives a fun and fairly simple way to do so.
But this isn’t an article about how great LBP is, and will become. That’s for another time. This is about those wonderful Trophies that Media Molecule have included into the delightful game. As one would expect, ‘Play, Create, Share’ perfectly describe LBP’s Trophies. Play the game. Create your vision. Share it with the world.
100% Complete (Platinum): Earn all LittleBigPlanet trophies to unlock this platinum trophy
- Earn all other 47 LittleBigPlanet Trophies.
The Gardens (Bronze): Complete all levels in The Gardens
- Complete all 3 levels in The Gardens.
The Savannah (Bronze): Complete all levels in The Savannah
- Complete all 3 levels in The Savannah.
The Wedding (Bronze): Complete all levels in The Wedding
- Complete all 3 levels in The Wedding.
The Canyons (Bronze): Complete all levels in The Canyons
- Complete all 3 levels in The Canyons.
The Metropolis (Bronze): Complete all levels in The Metropolis
- Complete all 3 levels in The Metropolis.
The Islands (Bronze): Complete all levels in The Islands
- Complete all 3 levels in The Islands.
The Temples (Bronze): Complete all levels in The Temples
- Complete all 3 levels in The Temples.
Expert Creator (Bronze): Complete all levels in the Tutorials
- Complete all the ‘?’ Tutorials. To access the Tutorials go to My Moon and create a level. Bring up your Popit menu and select the top-middle icon to take the next Tutorial. After that icon disappears you’ll need to look for a few additional tutorials, these will appear as small question marks on the bottom right hand side of some items.
Artist (Bronze): Place a sticker
- Place you first sticker… anything, anywhere.
Homemaker (Bronze): Place 10 stickers or decorations in your pod
- Place down 10 stickers or decorations in your pod. They don’t have to be different and can be removed after getting the Trophy.
Fashion Sense (Bronze): Choose a costume for your sackperson with at least one item on your head, at least one item on your body, and a material
- Bring up the Popit menu and select Customize Character. Select a material, an item for your head, and an item for your body.
[Hidden] Trendsetter (Bronze): Place a sticker or a decoration on another player’s sackperson
- Pace a sticker or decoration on another players sackperson. This can be done online or offline.
Forager (Bronze): Collect 25% of the prize bubbles on the story levels
- Collect 275 prize bubbles.
Sticky Fingers (Bronze): Collect 50% of the prize bubbles on the story levels
- Collect 549 prize bubbles.
Treasure Hunter (Bronze): Collect 75% of the prize bubbles on the story levels
- Collect 823 prize bubbles.
2X Multiplier! (Bronze): Get a 2X Multiplier
- Pick up five Prize Bubbles and/or Points Bubbles in quick succession.
8X Multiplier! (Bronze): Get an 8X Multiplier
- Pick up 40 Prize Bubbles and/or Points Bubbles in quick succession. This can fairly easily be done on The Wedding level Skulldozer.
[Hidden] Cranium Collector (Bronze): Kill 100 Creatures across all levels
- All enemies have a ‘brain’ that you can hop on to neutralize them. Some enemies have defenses while others do not, but all you have to do is collect 100 ‘brains.’ If you play through the story you should collect almost enough. The last few levels provide great at providing enemies if you are in need of more brains.
[Hidden] Secret Stickerist (Bronze): Unlock the race in First Steps
- On the level First Steps near the beginning you will run up a mushroom ramp and hop onto a small brick platform. Hanging above this brick area is some wood that looks like a shoe, use the trigger sticker to have a race gate drop down. To see if you have the trigger sticker required open your Popit menu and go into Stickers. On the first page near the top there will be a ‘Triggers’ category if you have the required sticker, if not there will be no ‘Triggers’ category.
Incredible Speed! (Bronze): Travel at incredible speed
- Create a level and place down a rocket car. Use the tweak menu and max out the speed from the rocket. Save and play your level. Hop into the car and grab on.
Incredible Height! (Bronze): Travel to an incredible height
- Create a level and take a material as high as you can (you’ll need to anchor it to the ground and go up). Place a starting gate at the top and anchor it. Save and play your level.
[Hidden] Sackbird (Bronze): Spend 8 seconds or more in the air
- The best way I’ve found to do this is to glitch. Here is a video of how and where it can be done, there are other places as well. Alternatively, you could create a similar creation to the launcher and have it launch you as high as it can.
Friendly (Bronze): Complete a level with more than one player
- Complete any Community or Story level with another player.
Party Person (Bronze): Complete a level online with 3 other players who are on your friends list
- Complete any Community or Story level with 3 other players who are on your PSN friends list.
Socialite (Bronze): Complete a level online with 3 other players who are not on your friends list
- Complete any Community or Story level with 3 other players who are not on your PSN friends list.
Top of the class (Bronze): Win a 4-player game
- Have the highest score at the end of a 4-player level.
Traveller (Bronze): Complete a community level
- Complete any community level.
FIRST! (Bronze): Be among the first 10 people to complete a community level
- Be on of the first 10 people to complete a Community level. You can tell how many people have completed a Community level by the number beside the picture of a Running Sackboy.
Opinionated (Bronze): Tag a community level
- After completing a Community level you are asked to select a rating and a word to describe the level you just played. Pick a rating and word.
Neighbourhood Watch (Bronze): Heart 5 community levels
- Heart any 5 community levels.
Networking (Bronze): Heart 3 authors
- Heart any 3 authors.
Talkative (Bronze): Post a comment on a community level
- When viewing a levels details, scroll all the way to the right and you’ll find comments. Write a comment about the level, if you so desire you can also delete the comment afterwords.
Creator (Bronze): Build and save a level with the thermometer more than 30% full
- Create a new level and keep throwing in Harmful Creatures as they seem to add the most to the thermometer. Once you are past 30%, save.
Team Creator (Bronze): Build and save a level with more than one player with the thermometer more than 30% full
- Do the same as for Creator (Bronze), just with another player assisting you. You’ll receive Creator (Bronze) if you do not already have it.
Publisher (Bronze): Publish a level
- Publish your first level. After you get the Trophy you can remove your level if you so desire.
Look what I made! (Bronze): A level you published was played by 5 or more people
- A level you published must have been played by at least 5 different players. Ask your friends to play your level.
Just Beginning (Silver): Complete all the main path story levels
- Complete all 25 Story levels.
20X Multiplier! (Silver): Get a 20X Multiplier
- Pick up 100 Prize Bubbles and/or Points Bubbles in quick succession. You can create a level and place 100 small Points Bubbles into a bowl so that they are easy to collect.
Hi Score (Silver): Collect 1,000,000 points over all levels you have played
- Score 1 million points across all levels, Story and Community. Continue to play different Community levels and you’ll eventually pull this in. You could use the tactic as 20X Multiplier! (Silver) just with more score bubbles if you wanted to do it really fast.
Booty Master (Silver): Collect all the prize bubbles on the story levels
- Collect all 1,097 prize bubbles.
Dr Frankenstein (Silver): Create a living creature with at least 2 eyes, 2 legs or wheels, and a brain
- This will be completed during one of the Create Tutorials.
Crowd Pleaser (Silver): A level you published was played by 50 or more people
- This is an easy one to get given enough time. Even small and simple levels will get this eventually though it may take some time. Create and publish a level with a beginning and end, one day when you boot LBP up you’ll be rewarded with it.
Feel the love (Silver): A level you published was hearted by 10 or more people
- This is an easy one to get given enough time. Even small and simple levels will get this eventually though it may take some time, though the better it is the more likely it is to be hearted. Create and publish a level with a beginning and end, one day when you boot LBP up you’ll be rewarded with it.
Celebrity (Silver): You were hearted by 5 or more people as a player
- Two ways to go about this, create a good level and get hearted by 5 players or ask your friends to heart you. A more underhanded way would to create a few sub-accounts and heart yourself.
Play (Gold): Complete all story levels without dying, with the exception of those levels that only end when you die
- You need to complete all Story and side levels without dying. There are a few that only end when you die, which obviously do not need to be Aced. You can tell if a level is Aced (completed without dying) if it has a Golden Spade on it.
Create (Gold): A level you published was hearted by 50 or more people and you were hearted by 30 or more people
- No real trick to this one, you need to create a good level and have it hearted by 50 people and also have yourself hearted by 30 people… or get a group of 50 people to heart each other and their levels.
Share (Gold): Play 150 community levels, tag 50 community levels and heart 10 community levels
- Continue playing community levels and you’ll eventually receive this. Again, there is no trick to it.

do you have every platinum trophy?
@dand008 No he doesn’t. He’s like 5-10 percent above my percentage on LBP (last time I checked) but he’s only like 1-2 levels higher than me. But he does have a TON more trophies. I don’t know how he has that much time and I’m so freakin pissed/envious that he has already beaten EVERY level with no deaths lol.

No, I tend to lose interest in a game before I get the Platinum. Usually I leave a game with only a few Trophies remaining, typically ones that just require some persistence. It doesn’t help that I’m addicted to Trophies and move on to other titles with Trophies before finally finishing everything. However I think LBP may be an exception, I’ll continue to come back to this.
Oh, man, these trophies look like fun. I sure hope my game store gets their new shipment of LBP tomorrow. This game looks like so much fun. I have numerous ppl on my friends list that want me to play with them. They keep telling me “Ray, you gotta get this game, it’s so fun- even in single player mode.” Well, as soon as I can find a store that actually has the game in stock, I’ll get it. Dang it! I knew I should have bought LBP instead of BioShoick. [still kicking my own butt]

same here, I don’t like to keep pushing myself to play a game just to get the platinum, it really takes the fun away from the game, feels more like work. But little big planet may be that game that’ll keep me there, i mean Ive unlocked a couple of trophies already by just having fun.
btw forgot to say, these are the greatest trophies I have ever seen for any game, i mean theyre based around the game itself not spamming one action (like killing 100 birds) and its a great way to go through everything the game has to offer. And its fun. LBP FTW.

i finished all of the ” ? ” Tutorials , aswell as a Magnetic Tutorial.
Can anyone tell me the rest of the tutorials i need to finish to get this trophy!
i thought the game glitched out on me when i finished the ” ? ” Tutorials to see no Trophy Sign or Sound pop up in the Top Right corner

There are a bunch of tutorials for the different bolts and wiring. The one you still need to do have a green question mark when you scroll over them.
You just need to make sure you go thru everything. It is just the ones that have ?, but like aeroglyphics said all the bolts all the strings, pistens ect have them. The change background when you scroll all the way to the left has one but no ? I think it is just a video but that also counts I think. Just keep looking there is probably just some random one you missed.
The trophies that will probably take some time will be the level hearted by 50 or more and you being harted by 30 or more. It just takes time. I have 2 levels there not bad but I’ve only had them played by a handful of people. Everyone check my levels out Balloon to safety and Escape from Fire Mt. let me know what you think we need to help each other to get our levels more popular. IT really only seems like the levels based off of old games or movies get a ton of attention. Or if it has already been played by a bunch of people

For expert creator, are you required to watch the videos in full?
Nope, no need to watch the full video. In fact I don’t even believe you need to watch the videos, just complete the Tutorials which are mainly the additional bolts and strings.
The trophy “Play” question. What if I die, can I repeat the level until I complete it without dying?
Yes you can, otherwise that would be a bit unfair. You’ll need to restart the level in the case you do die.
Is there a place to check how many bubbles I have and how many im missing?
Each level has it’s own bubbles display. Bring up the level information box and scroll all the way to the right. You’ll see a collected ‘##/## items.’ You can also know if you have all items from the map if there is a golden sack on the level icon.

really nice guide. Although i am not a trophy addict, i still get excited when i get them LOL. I have a bunch of games with trophies but i really dont stress for them + with this game, i’ve gotten a lot of trophies without trying to. All bronze tho
this game is pretty awesome and having Trophies only makes it better.
I was really excited about this game, then I got it…I really don’t enjoy it that much. I play it trying to love it but I just don’t see what the hype is all about… I know it is just my opinion… Again, I am trying to love it.
What am I missing?
A little tip on the Creator and Team Creator. Make sure there are two players then create a level, choose the wilderness template and save the level. Then you will get both the Creator and Team Creator at the same time.
its easy ive got all the trophies except SHARE , CREATE and TEAM CREATOR (and the platinum)

The ‘Play’ trophy, can this be done just by finishing each level separately, or does it have to be done all in one sitting? Hoping it’s the former.
