good review for the most part, but cmon, how is it possible to have 2 players in such a campaign as R2, i kinda felt that way bout the node modes, but honestly the online kicks ass the way it is, but i do agree with you on some of the other cons.
honestly to me, its the greatest PS3 game ive played since MGS4

I really missed the narrative nature of the first game and the ability to carry all weapons especially with the way the trophies are spread. Still an awesome game even though I have to restart it and finish it since I have to buy a new PS3

Really im glad I bought it its a great game no doubt but the matchmaking system is completely broken(never had a match with more than 20 people) and the party system is confusing. I just feel there is not that much replay value besides the single player and I cant help but feel the online is really unbalanced in comparison to cod4 and other shooters. Resistance 2 reminds me of the chaotic rock/paper/scissor style of halo. Still props to insomniac this game is very epic and im sure the online modes are just an acquired taste.

I believe the first Resistance did have real support from another character with personality. He’s the dude with the sniper rifle that would assist you not only on ground but in the jeep/truck.

For me the deal breaker on the game regarding whether to buy or not was the fact that they didn’t add a split-screen campaign mode. I’ll probably rent it to see how the story unfolded.

Good review, but I’ve got to disagree with you with the Questions Unanswered and the Campaign Co-op. The questions, they were going to make it a Hollywood ending but they said it couldn’t just finish like that. And the campaign co-op, they said it wouldn’t have sense since it was completely focus to single-player, but since I haven’t played the game (I live in Colombia, not easy to get games) you may be right a bout that. I want the Collector’s Edition, show everyone the Chimera skin!
