Slightly interesting!! But if u wanna talk about a customisable interface u should talk about the 360 dashboard!! Talk about NOT feeling a sense of openess or ownership everything feels so rigid like I cant make modify it in any way………. so annoying!! GIVE ME FREEDOM!! Sorta like I get with the PS3 its so open and clear, and I hear u HUGHES ISAACS………. 3D and animated background would be SICK!! Imagine an animated Kratos background battling with the gods, or seeing CJ take down some dirty purple ballas!

I would love to see this, I’ve been thinking about this ever since Sony released Premium Themes being that you could get a better looking theme out of a PSP hack it’s kind of sad and Sony should look into making a new theme format, maybe even one that is compatible with both the PSP and PS3 (and any future products that use the XMB).

Hmmm, maybe they should add a few other things also like 3D effects and animated backgrounds to replace the waves.

I think that this is an amazing idea! What is so true is that it has been done on the psp, of course it can be done on the ps3.
Why would we have to hack/mod our system to be able to truely customize it to our liking? I had to hack my psp because i was so tired of seeing the same xmb style. AND I REALLY HOPE WE GET TO UPLOAD CUSTOM AVATARS! The ones sony has are really lame. So Bored of them!

I really hope sony does look into this and also i would like for them to speed up the In-game XMB as kpdc1 said, it is pretty slow in some games.

Its a good idea and i think something Sony should def. look into. On the topic of customization, why not let me use an image from my Harddrive as my PSN avatar?

Great concepts and lets hope they take notice.

Pretty cool, but some customizations are possible. Just search custom PS3 themes on google and you can download whatever custom themes you want .
