Hello everyone. Did everyone have a wonderful holiday? I am still recovering from last week’s holiday festivities and with New Year’s Eve a few days away, I expect to be in the same boat next week. With all of the chit chat aside, let us get to the good stuff. It appears that the studios have decided to take a slight holiday this week as well. There are not too many new releases in the US. I must say that Event Horizon and Serenity are 2 titles that I cannot help but to be excited about. I am not excited about Last Holiday though. Ghost is a great movie. I recall watching it again recently with my mother. (Apparently it is in my sentimental buy category).
Due to the relatively low amount of releases this week, I’ll just give you the goods courtesy of Blu-Ray.com:
Anything that is a definite buy for you? I am still light in the pockets from Christmas.

YES! I LOVE SERENITY!!!!
SERENITY! One of my favorite Movies for a long gone TV series. I still need to pick up the complete Firefly Series on BD, but even so… I’m getting Serenity this week.
I have never seen serenity but it has been recomended by many customers to me. Summer glau is damn sexy. When I hear the title of the movie I always recall in seinfield george kastanza’s dad yelling serenity now!

Love that episode. I think of ‘Serenity now!’ when I hear the the word Serenity normally. But if we’re talking about movies Serenity always is the first to come out.
Thought you might like to know that Wedding Crashers street date of 12/30 was lifted on Friday.

Guess I need to pick it up then (I can get the HD-DVD version for $4.59 at work, the Blu is likely a port of the HD-DVD version anyway)
