Trophy Guide – Crash Commando

CRASH COMMANDO

CRASH COMMANDO

Crash Commando is the first game created by Swedish developer EPOS Game Studios.  You can think of Crash Commandos as a mix of Bionic Commando and Warhawk.  The game looks and plays much like Bionic Commando, but the core of the game is the fast paced action similar to Warhawk.  The game includes eight primary weapons, two of which are not selectable from the loadout screen, two side arms and three types of explosives.  The game also comes with two vehicles, both having their own unique strengths and weaknesses.

The Trophies for Crash Commando are quite well done.  While they are are geared more towards multiplayer, many of the Trophies can actually be earned by just playing single player, Including those involving ranking.  Crash Commando is a multiplayer game at heart and it truly shows when you take the game online and experience how much fun it truly is.

FIRST MISSION (Bronze): Play an Objectives mission online for the first time.

– Objective Matches can only be played in Multiplayer and cannot have bots.  You can create one yourself or you can join one if available.  As soon as you join you’ll get this, meaning you don’t have to actually finish the game.

PROBIE COMMANDO (Bronze): Reach commando level 5.

– You’ll reach level 5 when you have earned 600 XP.  XP can be earned in both Single Player and Multiplayer modes.  To check your XP view your Player Profile from the menu or pause menu.

MISSION HANDLER (Bronze): Host games with a combined session playtime of 1 hour.

– In Multiplayer, create a match and start it.  You can fill the game with bots if you so wish.  The hosting sessions are cumulative so this can be spread out through multiple sessions.  This should only take at most 6 matches if you can get them to run around 10 minutes a piece.

DEMOLITION EXPERT (Bronze): Destroy 20 control panels.

– Panels are found in the ‘The Tower’ and ‘The Base’ maps.  You can only place one charge at a time per person.

* If you can get someone to join a game with you and they leave, you can continue to play.  When it comes your turn to defend you can switch teams and bomb again.

HACKER (Bronze): Upload 20 blocks of data.

– Data Terminals are found in the ‘The Cave’ and ‘The Volcano’ maps.  You can carry a maximum of 2 pieces of data at once.  Once you are in possession of Data you must return to the Satellite and upload each piece of data.

* If you can get someone to join a game with you and they leave, you can continue to play.  When it comes your turn to defend you can switch teams and steal data again.

WEAPONS 101 (Bronze): Get 20 kills with each of the six primary weapons.

– This is pretty straightforward.  If you aren’t very good at using select weapons, create a game and set the bots to Easy.  You can check your progress by viewing your profile.  If there is no number by the weapon and it’s in bold then you have at least 50 kills.

GLOBE TROTTER (Bronze): Play a complete game on every map online.

– There are 8 different maps.  You need to play on each of them at least once.  It does not matter what mode you play.

ELITE COMMANDO (Silver): Reach commando level 15.

– You’ll reach level 15 when you have earned 4,000 XP.  XP can be earned in both Single Player and Multiplayer modes.  To check your XP view your Player Profile from the menu or pause menu.

* If you are not too keen about playing against others you can create a Deathmatch (Single Player or Multiplayer-Friend Chain) with 12 bots and a scoring limit of 100.  On the second page change the time length of both options to 120 and change the Bot difficulty to Easy (difficulty does not affect xp).  Playing this,  can earn you roughl 300-400 XP per game and also contribute to a few additional Trophies if played in Multiplayer.

BOOT CAMP BEAST (Silver): Complete all Grunt and Jarhead Boot Camp missions with a Commando Medal score.

– You need to beat each of the 16 Single Player levels with a score of at least 1000 points.  Focus on using whatever weapon you are most proficient at unless the bots start completely owning you, in that case you may want to switch up weapon tactics.  You score points by filling bots and get more points for multiple kills, but your score is constantly reduced every second.  You need to be fairly quick, but don’t bee too reckless.

CRASH AND CONQUER (Silver): Win 20 online games.

– 20 wins really isn’t too hard to achieve if you play the game right.  I would suggest staying away from pure Deathmatch as only one person wins those.  Objective and Team Deathmatch are both Team based and as such are much easier to win.

SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST (Silver): Have all three survival bonuses activated at the same time in an online game 10 times.

– As you play the game you’ll be able to activate the survival bonuses.  You gain these by using the D-Pad (Up, Left and Right) when available.  Your survival bar will fill as you play and also fills as you get kills.  You will lose your bonuses and your bar will empty if you are killed.  To get this Trophy you will need to have all three of these bonuses active at the same time, 10 times.  You don’t have to do this in a single game, these are cumulative.

CRASH COMMANDO (Gold): Reach commando level 25.

– You’ll reach level 25 when you have earned 14,000 XP.
