Since I myself am a huge fan of Sony electronics, and that is what originally brought me to the PlayStation brand, I have been thinking about covering, and reviewing Sony consumer electronics. After all consumer electronics is part of the PlayStation “LifeStyle”…
From OLED TV’s, to Sony Cybershot, to the new Sony VAIO P-Series Lifestyle PC (we love the Lifestyle PC moniker), we would bring you the latest news, and reviews from the brand you all love, Sony.
So please comment below and let us know if you would like to see us feature Sony consumer electronics along with your regular PlayStation news.

Why not? Sony electronics is also a lifestyle
Meh. I wouldn’t want to detract from PS coverage. But I suppose if it’s a slow day…
Only product that’s worth mentioning. Like news about the OLED or 3-D televisions. or what you think the best camera, tv, etc.
I’m all for covering Sony products, we all love Sony after all.

In any case, I would prefer if ‘playstation’ lifestyle remain mostly about playstation. If you guys want to cover sony, perhaps another sonylifestyle.net would be a good idea?
All… most definitely i would LOVE to see all of sony’s products on here.. Sony has such a wide Variety of consumer products.. Plain an simple it would be a GREAT addition to this PS Lifestyle
Maybe not every single Sony product, but I would like to see reviews of the new high-end models of things.
New Sony products are usually a little more expensive than the competition but it’s usually because it’s got some higher quality features, and I would like to know if those features are really of quality and/or about it’s improvements over the past products.
And if they are related to gaming even better. Like if the TV will have lag (since I play fighting games, even 1 frame of lag matters), or if a camera or walkman’s got cool and useful features/ease of use when hooking up to a PS3 or PSP etc.
I don’t comment much but I just want to say “thank you!!” to playstationlifestyle and everybody on this site for their great job at making this site even greater!!!

I too LOVE Sony, but if you’re going to be covering other Sony products, I suggest only covering those that relate to gaming. For example, you would cover a new Sony TV and comment on how well it handles PS3 gaming, or you could write a story on the new Sony Walkman and how it could possibly be used to interact with the PS3. After all, this site is about the “Playstation Lifestyle”, and so stories on other Sony products should fall into that category. If anything, products like the VAIO P, for instance, have a lot less to do with the PlaystationLfestyle and more with the SonyLifestyle.
P.S. Whats going on with the PSLS Home Club? Every time I go, there’s never anyone there.
I think it is cool for you to do this, esp if you are getting some bucks from Sony, but I think it would be best is you made a “SonyLifestyle” site, rather than beat up the PSLS site with non PS info.

Gaming will always be the primary focus, but expanding into all of Sony would be an awesome move!
I’m thinking this needs to be a sticky post, so we can get plenty of responses. Anyway, I’d be more than happy to help with such a venture as well as continue my work here on PSLS. Though it would probably have to be its own website. I’ve got a Sony sound system, two pairs of Sony headphones/earbuds, and my next television will most likely be a Bravia…
Absolutely. But not everything, just Bravia, Blu-ray, Vaio and Walkman.
I have a 52″ XBR4, Sony receiver, Sony 5.1 surround sound system, Sony digital picture frame and Sony portable DVD player… in addition to my PS3 and PSP. So… yeah, I could help out a little bit.

Sony fan here and all around, please publish all info, maybe even rumurs of whats going to come! Although you guys have stopped that though, which i understand.
maybe on a new website like Sony Lifestyle or something, but for here, i would mostly like to see news on playstation. I like sony products, but i would rather use this site to see just ps3 information.
I also was attracted to the playstation brand through my live for Sony electronics. I would be all for this idea because there isn’t really is not another blog for Sony gear that I’m aware of.
I think it would be a good addition to the site. I have always been a fan of Sony and there wide variety of products. For example I watch Blu-ray on my Bravia XBR. I take photos with my CyberShot. I stream video and music from my VAIO. I used to have a Walkman.
I love Sony products as well but I’d think making a sonylifestyle.net would be better. What I did enjoy reading on this site before was great deals on accessories such as memory cards. Maybe posting good deals on HHD’s and stuff like that would be a better direction.

I think it’s a great idea. In my opinion, your PS3 game reviews are some of the best on the net because you guys are true gamers, not people who are paid to review games. So, I would love to see your opinions on Sony Electronics.

haha this couldn’t be more true… we currently PAY to review games. haha we have to go out and buy the games, split them up, review em!
But glad you like the reviews. I’m going to try to work on a few myself (just got Skate 2 yesterday and 3 new PSP games).
Well, after 3 comments failing to post on my PS3, I finally went to my comp. Here’s my opinion, I think you guys should stick to PlayStation stuff exclusively.

I would be fine with sony product coverage, but I can go to engadget/gizmodo and all these other tech sites for that. The reason I come here is for my playstation news, and then n4g.com for general gaming news.
I would actually especially like sony products reviewed if they someone mentioned integration with playstation products/lifestyle. for example, a feature of the cybershot camera which allows the new photo gallery to be easily used. or how the ‘this’ new vaio includes an hdmi out so you can use the monitor as a display for ur ps3 if you want to game on the go.
Now that would be AMAZING.. =D
sorry for the double-post, i dunno if i could re-edit the last one like on forums. but i agree with “West_Coast_G”‘s comment as well. for t.v’s explained how the newer 120hz lcd sony tv’s will actually give you an amazing bluray experiance. and how you really havent experianced bluray unless your viewing it on .. following details available on following sony tv’s..
now im gettin somewhat hyped.. i’ve always been a supporter of getting the most out of my ps3, linux, streaming, bluray, remote-access e.t.c.
