According to the TimesOnline UK, things are not all puppy dogs and ponies at Nintendo. Just yesterday they have revised their profit forcast with a 33% cut for fiscal year ending March 2009. The article concludes that most of the issues with Nintendo stems from the lack of quality titles. There are less AAA titles in Nintendo’s pipeline then there were just 6 months ago. It seems the Wii is getting a little Wiik, I mean weak.

No offence and I have mad respect for Nintendo but any BUSINESS blow that the Wii gets is fine by me.
I just personally don’t agree with where it took gaming and I don’t think it even qualifies as a gaming console perse.
I know this is a stupid argument, but I’m just saying, this is how I feel personally.
I was a much bigger fan of Gamecube.

I’m glad, to be honest.
But, what I really want to see are low and suffering 360 sales.
I’ve found Microsoft to be an INCREDIBLY disappointing and disrespectful company, towards gamers.
Sony has been great, though! Amazing, in fact!
Nintendo’s casual focus bothers me. But, Microsoft is now casual, and that bothers me just as much, if not more.

hope so. i hate the wii. i hope sony doesnt follow nintendo into the whole casual market. id be pissed

Why? As long as Sony can release games for every gamer from casual to hardcore… whats the harm to us? The flaw with nintendo is they avoided games for gamers because they prefer grandmas and toddlers to be able to play. SO… even great exclusive titles like Mario and Zelda can not support the company when their most common release is pure garbage.
