Dead to Rights Resurrected on PS3

The March issue of PlayStation: The Official Magazine spills the beans on a Dead to Rights reboot coming to the PS3 (and presumably the Xbox 360).

Jack Slate returns to Grant City with gameplay described as a “heavier focus on hand to hand combat” and “has a sort of Jason Bourne-style look to it”. Shadow also returns as your trusty companion. The game is developed by Volatile Games (Reservoir Dogs, 2006) and should be out Q4 2009.

I remember that the PS2 version had some sort of special Monster you got on Monster Rancher. By the way when are they going to really make a good one of those again and release it for the PS3 with awesome special edition monsters for certain games.

I wonder if this could be the PS3 exclusive that is coming from a 3rd party that was rumored?
