How antsy are you getting thinking about how close the release of Killzone 2 is? I’m sure I can speak for all of us here at PSLS when I say we are getting extremely excited and antsy. The release is only a couple weeks away, but are you just about to bust and can’t wait any longer? Well I’ve got some great news, if you don’t mind spoilers.
Over at Gameanyone.com they have a complete video walkthrough of the whole single player campaign of Killzone 2. So if you can’t wait any longer go ahead and go enjoy the walkthrough.

That is an extremmely good way to ruin the game when you first buy it. Not playing the demo not looking at these videos
The demo doesnt really ruin anything just so you know.
Also theyre total playtime was like 5:10 minutes…ish excluding end credits.
I wonder if they think people actually want to watch someone play the whole game though. Seems boring and a total waste of their time btw.
i guess they just blasted through the levels to get the video done. from reviews im’ve heard its fairly short, around 7 hours maybe. to be honest thats fine for me, would like it to be closer to atleast the 10 hour mark though
7 hours is fine. A 7 hour campaign will typically take me about 10 hours… this is how long it took me to get through Call of Duty 4, both Gears, Halo 3, Resistance 2, etc. I’d say CoD5 too, only that took me FOUR hours to get through. Laziest singleplayer/co-op ever.. the game’s a friggin $60 map and weapon pack.
Anyway, my point being, this game’s campaign seems just as long as your average shooter campaign. The difference is that it’s not a lazy tack-on to the multiplayer, like the CoD3-5, Gears, Halo and even sub-par R2 campaigns. According to the reviews I’ve read, the single-player levels seem to be meticulously crafted and paced almost perfectly. I can’t say this for any of the games I’ve mentioned.
As much as I want to click on the link and check out some of the footage (even if it’s short) I think I’ll resist temptation and just wait for the final game, which’ll be here in my greedy, anxious little hands in 2 weeks.
If I get the urge to see more Killzone I’ll just have to satisfy myself with yet another session with the demo. Besides, I’d rather appreciate the game in all it’s 720p, high-res glory on my HDTV with me behind the controls.
Besides, I already feel bad enough watching the opening cinema (not sure why they just didn’t use the in-game engine) and not being patient enough to wait for the actual game so I think I’ll use some real restraint and just wait for the game.
