While checking out Leading Light Design’s project portfolio (which includes Killzone 2), I noticed a new game that Sony would be publishing. The game is called Titan, and from the sheer scale the images suggest the game could only be realized on the PS3. This would be great news, if it wasn’t for the fact that Stormfront Studios closed its doors last year. However there is a likely chance that Sony owns the rights to the IP, and it very well could be being developed by another Sony first party developer. Let’s hope so, as the game looks rather interesting. Check out the images after the jump…
Those Giant Robots remind me of Shadow of the Colossus…. If a Sony 1st party developer was to finish this game, I’d say let Team ICO or Sony Santa Monica handle it.
I was thinking the same thing Adrian, maybe it could be some kind of a sci-fi type game in the same vein as Shadow of the Colossus.
This is to bad that this game will never see the light of day. Because the graphics of the artistic style really looks cool. I can only hope Sony can still bring this game out.
Hi, my name is holymoly and I’m a jealous fanboy
There r 2 characters in each screen, the giant robot and a human with weapons, it would be an great twist and refreshing feel if there were online co-op where 1 player is the giant machine and the other is the human character, the possibilities of it would b almost limitless, and the next step in online co-op gaming

This looks like it would be an incredible game, if it were ever released.
looks like an american rip of Gundam. (SotC…damn you guys are blind “fans”)
@holymoly I do not believe that it is a rip at any console. Just saying it could only be realized on the PS3 and not the PS2 or PS1. This site holds strong to non fanboyism and I doubt very much that Sev the creater of the site would go against this.
Also this is a Playstation site so even if it was fanboyism then wouldn’t a Playstation only site be the place you could do that.
There is no way in hell this resembles Gundam.
What, are you saying that every game on earth that has a big robot in it is a ripoff of Gundam?
Let’s be serious here, please.
If anything, this game shares an atmosphere similar to Metroid Prime. The outlandish monsters and unique mechanisms are very representative of a Metroid game overall.
I don’t mind that though, at all. Anything basing its feel from a game like Prime is wonderful in my book
