Many PlayStation Home users are reporting that they are finding strange messages on their Home PDAs. Some of the messages appear to be coding, yet others seem to be something more.
One of the more disturbing messages follows:
There is also this image that suggests something strange is going on…

weird, someone hack the network or somethin
Saw it last week. Think it’s code for a new game content. I was thinking Killzone.
Who knows, really weird. :S Some people think it has to do with the rumored 2.7 FW update, but they might just bee looking way to into it lol: http://thegamingowl.blogspot.com/2009/02/is-sony-trying-to-tell-us-something.html
haha…..i bet its a publicity stunt or some kind of inside joke
or maybe home has become senitent
SKYNET!!11!1!
Banned.
Isaac……hey maybe it is exclusive dead space content, i mean it seartently sounds like it….for some odd reason…maybe i just love the game who knows.
maybe the core life support..mmm sounds spacey to me
it might have to do something with this.

EVERYBODY!!! ITS 2K9 ALL SYSTEMS ARE GOING TO CRASH!! (XBOX360)
if the 2.7 thing is true..theres no reason to own an xbox unless u play gears constantly and its ur life LMAO die xbox..
Its just an advert, bet all will be revealed before killzone 2 release!
Whoa… Those are scary! I wonder what happened…?
its all going dark dave.
I saw a different one but didn’t have a camera to see it! it said something about and unexplained drop in water pressure and to have someone go check it out. weird aye but unless Sony are actually using dynamic virtual pumps in the areas that have water that must have been planned, and must mean something. I read it while in the summer house btw maybe its still there I don’t know
attempt at viral marketing.
It’s definitely not code leaked, so it’s either
1) Viral Marketing by Sony
2) Hacked by someone who wants to mess with people
Either way, this is the greek symbol for Xi:

hey I just noticed something else. in the EU home square on the screen that’s showing red bull after the advert finishes it cuts onto something else. There’s about 5 seconds of it and it makes a high pitched bleep sound then shows what looks like a conveyor belt carrying something then zooms out to something else it all looks very industrial. However this thing appears to have eyes :S I did think it was Kilzone but it resembles something like wall-E but darker
Check it out see what you think
OMG! Above poster is correct!
It’s in-home. Briefly in the few seconds you can tell it’s in the home square… OMG, are they opening the doors?… and I mean THE doors?
What really surprises me is that you guys are still inside home… what are you doing in there? Last time I was there it look more like a ghost town.
There is nothing to do.
Please let me know if there is something new that I should know about.
Thanks
We over at the Official Forums are trying to figure it out.
Hey Sev, can you tell me/us when the redesign is going to be done (PM me on PS forums if you want to tell me lol).
I love stuff like this, assuming it’s not a bug lol. Can’t wait to see how this develops.
I just looked in mine and it says on the Latest update page….
–Open Alpha Test Space–
if s==”AlphaZone3″ then
OpenDoors(AlphaSpace[8])
end
That’s coding and i have the second picture you gave sev….that seems like a note to the programmer that someone can’t get a cpu to work, not sure why we are seeing it.
Yep. I got that first message last week.
Some friends of ours at the PS Forums have set up a site for those of you interested – http://sites.google.com/site/pshomemsg/
Latest Update: function Xi_S93() { MemCpy(&Stapler,&35623,sz); for ctr=1,MAX_EXP do SecureWrite(exp[ctr]} end Wipe(&Stapler); }
Three weeks ago there was a significant drop in water pressure – too large to be explained by any leak. Yesterday, another drop in pressure was noticed.
–Home maintenance Aqua – 3/cs:1 svalve=GetWarningSource(); if sValue==’FEC819′ then –Home Square CallEngineer(t1); elseif sValue==’A76bC1′ then –Central Plaza CallEngineer(t2); else –Apartments NotifyMaintenanceControl(); end Return 0;
Alphzone1 loading
(Unknown at this time…)
Visual recognition confirmed. Security barrier now open.
r = Validate(cSecurityAvatar[g->MAINTENANCE_DATABASE]); if (r) then bBarrierOpen=true; Trigger(AudioSecurityOpen); else –Transmit(AlertSecutity) //jess :smileyhappy: Trigger(AudioSecurityFailed); end
Space– if s==”Alphazone3″ then OpenDoors(Alphaspace[8]) end
This is obviously some kind of viral marketing. It could be a publicity stunt for Resident Evil 5.
I think you all got it wrong!
Sony is probably cleaning the fish pond in the square, i mean home has been out now for 3months and those fish dont keep their crap inside you know, but one would guess the pumps or one of them failed to open, thus the engineers are tryieng all sort of tricks to open that valve, phew fineally i could meditate at the pond again without suffocating, man those algy were driving me crazy!
hehehe……………………….its coming soon.

It’s probably one of those internet things. That will lead to something bigger!! Like F.E.A.R 2 Game, which they send out packages to a couple of youtubers. (Free Promotion) And they had to wait for the pass code. Maybe they are going to unravel a new PSH patch that will have a secret room were you go into a virtual reality world or something I don’t know. Lol, VR within VR.
Lol, yo used my pictures from my phone >.< Lol, ya I’ll admit. I did over react and come to the conclusion that this is more game-related than FW related.
