After the last batch of DLC was free EA has decided to go with the more conventional method and charge you. The second set of DLC will be arriving today Feb. 26th for the price of $10.
“What will be in this premium pack?” you ask. Well you get three new characters, two maps and two arenas. The sad thing about this game is it did not do very well in our opinion ( see our review ), so maybe charging for content is not the best way to increase sales.
Why don’t more companies go the way Criterion went, and offer free content to make the game even better? Instead, they start charging. Developers really need to start looking to Criterion to see the way DLC should be handled.

I agree I’m not going to be paying for more content. I will say this game has been one of my favorites, specifically the multi-player game play. Their last batch of content added zero value to the game (it was local 2 player content only).
Unfortunately I will not be paying for any additional content. I’m sick of these companies nickle and diming us to death.
mediocre game, and expensive DLC = double pass for me
I like LOTR films btw, but who doesn’t?
