SOCOM: Confrontation Patch 1.41 Deploys Today

Slant Six has been busy making SOCOM the experience every fan feels it should be. Earlier this week they did some work server side which is aimed at eliminating the lag issues. If you boot up SOCOM sometime early this morning you should receive the 1.41 patch. The patch has various fixes details are below.
- XMB presence – Medley Game information has been abbreviated, displaying all information required to identify the location of the player.
- Late Join ‘Hitch’ improvements – addresses the pause experienced by players when someone late joins a game.
- Navigating Screens With Large Clans – slow down issue fixed
- Increased speed of fade at the beginning of the round.
- Quick Match -
- Increased countdown timer in Quick Match Pre Game lobby from 20 to 60 seconds.
- Enabled Quick Match team switching.
- Ranked, Unranked and Unranked Respawn games, each contains 6 different playlists: 3 8vs8 and 3 16vs16 players.
- Claymores can now be detonated when player is in the prone position

Sorry I’m a Killzoner. It took me a long time to finally get addicted to a multiplayer FPS.
What exactly are you supposed to be sorry about? lol. Nobody is forcing you to play anything. I will still choose SOCOM over Killzone, but doesnt mean I wont play both.
socom is such a terrible game this patch does nothing to make it better. Takes 20 minutes just to get into a game and then the game plays like crap. Socom needs to take a page from Killzone 2 and learn how to put a good, FUNCTIONING online experience on the table. If socom wouldn’t have come with the headset, i would be pissed at the money i wasted on that poor excuse for a game

The dev’s took way too long to fix this pile of junk. It’ll remain in my reject bin along with some other games lol.
Confrontation is addictive, gotta get a fix this week sometime.

ok well your PS3 must be special. Outside of this, the game just plain sucks. They have taken far to long to fix what should have never been wrong at launch and have failed in any of the patches to do one thing and that is to add in the fun missing from this game.

How can u bitch about a game and the way it was done? Can you develop a game? Can you do better than the programmers? If you can come on im waiting for your game!
I am one of the few people that like Socom Confrontation, most other people just find thousand of things to complain about, granted the game had some issues and missing content but the gameplay is awesome!
