A JoyStiq tipster has revealed a new 80GB PlayStation 3 game bundle will be available via Target on March 29th. It includes Motorstorm and Resistance: Fall of Man. This definitely adds value to the $399.99 console. Will it be enough to make up for the lack of an actual price drop? Those two titles were two of the biggest original titles for the PS3 and a great starting point for any new purchaser. They are likely to purchase the sequels if they fall in love with them like the rest of us did. Nothing has been confirmed that the spy shot above looks rather legit.

Sony should offer a PS3 with a minimum HD size, some thing like a basic gaming system. No games 1 controller and one Composite Video cable (not the low end that already comes with the PS3). Leave all the rest of the features to make it a better deal than the low cost option from M(oney)icrosoft…

i just don’t like this bundle. You are putting in two games that are both over 2-3 years old, WOW.. I don’t know, better options to bundle with this me thinks.

@Voyou San: they are both launch titles, yeah, but they got pretty good scores. And why the hell would someone buying a PS3 for the first time want Resistance 2? Then they have to go out and buy Resistance: Fall of Man on their own to find out what happened in the first game… That doesn’t make sense. Instead, they’ll play the first Resistance, and since it’s awesome, they’ll want to go and buy Resistance 2. Possibly the same for MotorStorm, though I was not a fan.
I think they are good choices to bundle, but at $399, if the non-bundle does drop, then this is not value-added whatsoever.

Not too shabby, they should have put a better game in there than Motorstorm, that game was horrible. Why not add Ratchet & Clank, that game is great for everyone.
