LA Noire Absent from Take 2’s 2009 Release Schedule

L.A. Noire the retro mystery open world game has been slated for a 2009 release since it was first revealed. Oddly enough, Take 2 has not included L.A. Noire in it’s 2009 release schedule.
“On its latest release schedule for the 2009 fiscal year, LA Noire – the title originally announced as a PS3 exclusive – was notably absent.”
Perhaps this is just some posturing to give BioShock 2 the press buzz it deserves. Otherwise we might not see this title until 2010.

Very depressing news. But there are so many great games this year getting pushed back to 2010 may not be a bad thing.

Sneeches it’s the most expensive game ever made essentially. It’s a game that’s set in the old days where zoot suits were rampant. Other than that I don’t have a freaking clue.

I remember seeing a trailer for this a long time ago, looked like a great concept.
