I was talking about voice chat for Home in general being worked on, not specifically about voice chat across games or voice messaging on the XMB. I can see how my quick answer was taken as a confirmation on all 3 items, but this is not the case.”
Sorry guys. Doesnt sound like were getting cross game voice chat just yet.

I wouldn’t expect to see cross-game chat until Firmware 3.0. They’ve got to increase the amount of available memory for this feature by trimming down the OS, and that is a lot of work. Even in-game XMB took two updates to really become quick and useable.

NOW THAT IS AWESOME!!

Finally the ROCK has come back to…oh wait..sorry, can’t do that anymore…

It is gonna be sweet IF it runs smoothly. IN game, bring up the XMB, send a voice message over to your friend, instead of typing out a severely edited version of what you want to say or tell them.

Things are definately starting to ramp up within HOME, and with the PSN…it’s getting exciting again.. FINALLY LOL

Cross-game invites are more important to me then cross-game chats, but even so this will be a nice addition.

Cross-game invites is a bit much, but cross-game chatting is definitely awesome. I can’t wait to use it since it’s one of the best features of Xbox Live.
