Need For Speed Shift

EA announced today that Need For Speed Shift will be shifting into high gear in order to meet its September 22nd release date.  For those of you over the pond, you will see it on September 17th.  The newest iteration of Need For Speed is a series reboot.  This will be a first-person racing simulation title with realistic handling and physics.  The only question now is will this game even be able to keep up once Gran Turismo 5 comes out.

Awesome – The NFS franchise needs a complete overhaul in my opinion and this just might be the one too do it.

  2. I always liked the NFS games. I hope this one is better than the last couple.

I always liked realistic damage to my cars, fingers crossed.

  4. That’s a nice-looking in-car view.

That is an incredibly nice in-game photo.

I really hope they include realistic car damage, something Gran turismo has not done in the past like 4.5 generations of the series.

All i have to say is, if it has damage, customization to cars, and realistic physics, I am going to buy it for sure..

And i would love to play a demo of it also!
