Last Remnant is Square Enix’s RPG built with the Unreal Engine. Months before its release, the producers said that there would be a delay for the PS3 version due to issues. Today, staff from Wired asked about the current status of the PS3 version of the title. Takai’s response was:
“Well, as for the PS3 version, I can’t say anything about that.”
The 360 version of the title has been released and the PC version of the title was released last week. Hopefully more concrete information about the title will be released in the near future. It really makes you wonder what is going on over at Square Enix.

SE cannot talk about it because i bet they signed an exclusive deal with Microsoft not to talk about the PS3 version.. and we all thought it was problems with the unreal engine
oh well, SE is lead by a bunch of morons. Lets put all our games on the system that will get the least amount of sales for them!!!

As far as I’m concerned, I heard the game is average. I honestly don’t care if it comes to PS3 xD

it looked cool, but missed its window of opportunity. Sony has much better games coming out in the near future.

Square Enix is dead to me.They have been making awful games because they know 360 owners will buy any crappy 360 exclusive.

If any of the FF 13’s not coming out this year in US, I will take this as an appetizer, for at most $39.99 of course….not 60 bones. Square-Enix’s stock is not even that expensive I don’t think….

So sad to see SE become total tools.

How these guys have failed to support the ps3 is beyond me…years ago all they had was the playstation to develop on, but now that theirs another console out there they are putting all their eggs in that basket. Be careful guys, it’ll come back to bite you in the ass I’m sure.

if this does not come PS3, i may try to find it cheap, almost free on the PC.

Square Enix fails. They suck.
I don’t respect them anymore.

The 360 version of the game is rated around a 6.8 after 40 critics
The PC version is only rated by 2 critics and it’s a 7.4
Depending on if it’s released for the PS3 I”ll decide between PS3 and PC versions at a later date based on which ones is better.
If it’s not released for the PS3…well… LESS COST FOR ME W00T!

Oh 1 more note. 5 games have been released for the 360.
FInal Fantasy XI was going to be made for the PS3 but Sony kinda botched it up a bit. It’s still available on both PC AND PS2 so i don’t see what teh big deal is on that one.
Infinite undiscovery didn’t review well, doesn’t look interesting… *meh* they can have it.
The Last Remnant seems to be better on the PC than the laggy glitchy 360 counter part and may or may not be being developed on the PS3. So… either way I don’t care if it’s 360 or not.
Star Ocean the Last Hope… This one needs to be either PC or on PS3 because I can’t afford to get a 360 after purchasing a brand new PC.
Crystal Defenders was poorly reviewed and is coming to the PSN anyway.
Square Enix made a bunch of games for the NES
Then they made a bunch for the SNES
They also made a lot for the Playstation brand. Meanwhile though they kept putting games on the portable and sometimes the main system for nintendo’s brand.
They’ve never been a Sony exclusive company. More so, Sony can’t beat Nintendo in terms of console sales for qutie some time, neither can they beat 360s in sales in America for a while.
If you want Square Enix to make high quality games like XIII and Versus, then you’re going to have to deal with some losses here and there. Personaly Square Enix was never one of my favorite companies to begin with.
