Free?

Yes, free. Rumor has it that the new “Steel & Titanium” map pack will be released as a free download. The announcement supposedly came on Friday, but until we find a more credible source, we’ll have to place it in the rumor bin.

  1. This would be a plus, obviously, but I am willing to pay for it if it’s not. This game kicks.

  2. I am with the other posters, but free is always better! :)

  3. Hell ya.

Did Halo games offer any free map packs? what about Gears of War. If not then that’s just a testament to how Sony treats it’s fans.

We all know we’d pay for these new maps. Especially me who got my game for 52 dollars on release day thanks to an Amazon deal. They haven’t gotten quite enough money from me yet :P

The major thing is that they’re supporting this game. If they’re giving away free stuff for a while and then release paid dlc later hopefully they’ll get the loyal following that Burnout got where people buy DLC just to say “Thanks” to the company. Of course map packs are SO much more than just new cars to drive in.

ya i heard this was free too, but i still dont know if it is true. It is only 2 maps so it shouldnt cost that much if it isnt free
