Release Date Surprise in FF XIII Demo

If you are one of the ones who have pre-ordered Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete, congratulations! You will be getting an exclusive PS3 demo for Final Fantasy XIII. The demo clocks in at around an hour and a half of gameplay, and hopefully you can see a bit behind the must-played RPG. Unfortunately, no one knew when the actual game would come out.
But wait! According to Gamezine, the demo features a few surprises … including the game’s Japan release. To be clear, it’s not an official date. Instead, it’s ‘Winter 2009′. With that, you can probably come up with a rough estimate for the North American release.

You mean only in Japan right? Last time I checked we weren’t going to get a demo in the US FFVII ACC release because of localization.

I am not interested in a gimped version of FF13. Ever since they announced it for 360 I have taken it off my list , however I am interested in Versus 13.
After seeing the power of PS3 exclusives I really have no need for a dumbed down multiplat version of this game.

this is hard to get excited over for me, FF sort of jumped the shark in my mind.

Can’t wait to play this game….oh and I’m getting it for FREE!!!!!!
