Mars Not So Exclusive After All

The upcoming Action RPG Mars was not necessarily exclusive to begin with, and was originally set for release on PC, as well as PS3. And now the 360 is getting in on the fun. Before the cries of mischief and anger begin, remember that this title is using the PhyreEngine, a free engine that Sony has offered since GDC 2008 and was touted for its multiplatform capabilities.

The title will not be out until 2010, so there is plenty of time for it to grow and change. We’ll have more info on this title as E3 draws near.

I was about to say “I’m very disappointed at this”, but on second thought.. I’m not all that disappointed!

Doesn’t sound so great to me anymore, although I’d like to see something with a similar feel as a PS3 exclusive.

  2. Maybe they can make two versions: one capable of a true PS3 experience and then a dumbed down version capable of a 360 version.

    Sounds fair to me.
