Star Trek Beams Into PlayStation Home

Home just keeps getting better and better. Not only will Star Trek uniforms and T-Shirts be coming to Home on April 23rd, but there will ALSO be a special Star Trek promotion starting in Home tomorrow, which includes the latest trailer and a special introduction by J.J. Abrams himself.
As if that wasn’t enough, on the 20th there will be a roundtable discussion in Home, AND a special Q&A session with invited press and bloggers featuring Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, and J.J. Abrams. Both of these events will be streamed here.
PlayStation Home, despite its shaky launch later last year, seems to be picking up steam very quickly. We can’t wait to see where Sony takes this new service next!

I’m really intrigued by the “STREAMING” aspect of that Q&A and Roundtable discussion looks like a test of the new streaming capability of Home before E-3…

Not the same thing. They’re streaming this OUT OF Home to that site. That’s easy; hell, there are clubs in Home that stream their meetings to the internet every week.
For E3, they’ll need to stream INTO Home. It’s been done once already during the closed beta, but that was the closed beta. Now that it’s open to the masses, it’s a bit harder to pull off. They do need a test run, I think, but this won’t be it.

XD I can already see the Trekkie conventions… just on a more mild scale. I wont buy any of that content but I have to say that actually looks kind of cool.
