David Jaffe, founder of EatSleepPlay and creator of God of War, speaks on his preference for developing for the PS3, and then starts talking about Kevin Smith. For those familiar with Jaffe, he just tells it like it is, and . . . oh, I’ll just let him take it from here.

Not to mention the PSN is free
But to the main topic, this is why I respect Jaffe. He’s unbiased, and he’ll speak his mind on everything and anything and I almost always agree with him.
Can’t wait to hear about his upcomming game

@ DeAno – Nevermind, it’s cool.

It’s interesting that he states he can’t imagine games like Shadow of the Collosus being published, or even facilitated, by Nintendo or Microsoft. Goes to show how different the gaming culture is within all three companies.

He didn’t say that games like shadow of the colossus wouldn’t be published or facilitated by nintendo or microsoft, he said they weren’t likely to be published by a third party like EA or Activision, etc. His point was he makes games for sony, not because it is sony, but because he enjoys the freedom of being a first party instead of a third party, the fact that he choose sony over nintendo or microsoft is merely because they have been good to him in the past.
