New Ratchet Figures Swing into Retail

04/22/2009 Written by JohnDraisey

Following the overwhelming hype from the ComicsPRO 2009 event hosted by DC Comics, DC Direct has finally given a solid release date for the Ratchet and Clank action figures that were shown off. In addition to this, a new pair of figures have been added to the lineup. The figures go on sale on December 2nd, 2009, presumably right after the PS3 game is released.

Each action figure will have multiple articulation points, as well as accessories. Each main figure looks to be paired with a smaller partner, such as a Zoni figure packaged with the larger Dr. Nefarious. Check out the photos, and let us know what you think!

Me either, I bought R&C:ToD after seeing the trailer for Crack in Time. I’m glad I did, this game has probably been the most fun of any PS3 game i’ve played so far.

Resistance series is another one of my favs.

I always liked the rail jumping parts.

I have enjoyed every R&C game to date and this one will be no different.
Guess I’ll have to pick up a few of these so they can gather dust beside all my other figures.
Maybe a SE with a pack-in would be nice with the game.

@solid – the rail jumping parts were a lot of fun, i liked the free falling parts too where you had to use the sixaxis to move your guy and avoid objects as he fell to the ground below. IMO that and Uncharted were the first and only 2 games to use the sixaxis in a good way.. (wait, add flower into that pile)
