Battlefield 1943 Breaching PSN this June

EA and DICE have just confirmed that Battlefield 1943 will be releasing this June on PSN. The game will be in the likes of SOCOM: Confrontation, and Warhawk, being a multiplayer-only title. It will feature three maps: Wake Island, Guadalcanal and Iwo Jima.

Players are also able to choose which side to fight for, either the US Marines or the Imperial Japanese Navy, in 24 player battles. Best of all the game will be available for just $15.Be sure to check back on PlayStation LifeStyle for all the news on Battlefield 1943 as it hits.

    Hi, is this going to be console exclusive for the PS3 or does the 360 get a version as well? The 360 rarely gets big downloadable titles like this, so I was curious…

    Battlefield: 1943 is for PlayStation 3, XBox 360, and PC.

    Loved the Pc games, modding was brilliant and loved the transtion of bad company to the consoles, this will be a definite consider

  9. I’ve been reading up on this game and the little bits of previously unknown info I’ve seen is really catching my attention. I’ll most likely buy this game I suspect.
