Gobble Up Some Friends in Noby Noby Boy
Like Noby Noby Boy, but wish it had the already-mentioned multiplayer mode? Well apparently, your wait is almost over! Namco Bandai Games’ Keita Takahashi recently dropped by the PS Blog to let us know that a multiplayer patch is “almost there.” Takahashi had this to say about the new game mode:
“In Single player, the game allows BOY to eat another BOY as well as people and animals, etc. In Multiplayer though, eating everything has some funny consequences. For example, if the head of a 1P BOY eats the rear of a 2P BOY, the two players end up with a combined BOY.
Head: Player 1
Rear: Player 2This could be very confusing because one BOY is controlled by two players. Moreover, the fact that the game is compatible for up to four players could bring even more chaotic situations. Doesn’t that sound fun?”
No word on a release date, nor if this multiplayer mode will be offline-only or include online functionality (in this post, anyway; it was revealed to be offline back at GDC). this game just looked so weird, i dont even know what is going on in it.
It’s simply quirky and fun. Can’t wait to try multiplayer.
hahah yah the fun of this game has worn off for me anyways, so yah adding this in wont make me play it ever again. Add multiplayer trophies, and yeah I’ll give it a go again.
I agree, it was fun in the beginning but I haven’t played it since week 1. I like weird stuff but this is just the same basic thing over & over, eat.

I went to a friend’s house this past weekend. We were playing this game for about 3 hours straight before we finally needed a break to get some food. I may buy it if I she won’t game share with me.
Just to make clear, we each took turns playing alone.

There is a similarity between Noby Noby Boy and Katamari Damacy with the size you can grow to. I’m still finding new random objects also. The last good one I encountered was a couple of tornadoes. It was fun…
