The game itself was great honestly and I had a lot of fun. I got 65% of the trophies so far and I am really hoping I can get 100% but hey, if I can’t I can’t.

Worth the buy though

If you got over $1m and/or $1bn before the trophy patch, it is currently IMPOSSIBLE to get the trophies related to those cash amounts.

In additional EA/Pandemic are well aware of this (check this issue on forums everywhere EVEN Mercs2 official forum) and refuse to address it. Infact many topics created on the official Merc2 forums related to this issue are deleted or locked to avoid the issue.

Such a shame.

The most difficult trophy in the game for me was Aces High – I had to play through a second time to get it because I killed most HVTs instead of capturing them the first time through. Going for Aces High will make the game a lot more challenging… and frustrating when HVT’s die and it’s not your fault and you have to keep reloading your game and traveling across the map from the PMC to try once again!

I’ve done more than 20 airstrikes in a friend’s campaign I joined (all in 1 run) and STILL didn’t get the 20 co-op airstrikes trophy. Total I’ve probably pulled 30-40 airstrikes in other people’s games, and at least 20 in my own with people who joined mine. STILL no airstrike trophy. Glitch indeed. The same can be said for the 200 objects in co-op trophy – I’ve done that with both my own campaign and my friends’ – neither of us use or have used cheats yet we STILL don’t have it.

This is a great game, I had a lot of fun killing it and it’s more than worth the price I paid, but if you’re going to have trophies in your game, you should make sure they’re obtainable, instead of disappointing your fans even MORE than announcing there will be no future DLC did… come on Pandemic, I’ve heard before how much personal attachment you guys have to Mercenaries, so what’s *cough*EA*cough* changed?
