No, there isn’t an English video yet. As far as I know that’s the first video of real gameplay ever released for MAG. It looks a little early, but i’m sure Zipper won’t disapoint. I’m hoping it’s a 2010 title, since we have plenty for this year and it would give them even more time to polish the game.
Probably see more closer to E3 to gen up interest in the game. I would bet there will be a playable demo at the Sony expo floor also… And since it is not open to the public we will have to rely on our friends here to see how it plays…
But what I have seen the FPS/TPS guys are going to go fraggin’ nuts over this. But they will have limits placed to the gameplay since it has been stated the game engine will be related to the way a military would fill positions in the real world, missions will be assigned to each level of gameplay, for example squads will have a specific part in the mission such as holding/attacking a ridge, bridge or other location and that will follow the mission orders all the way down the chain of command. Not sure how that will play out but that is one feature that makes the game more realistic. But the hardcore deathmatch player might not like this part if the game is held to that standard all the time, but I could be wrong. Most PC online game matches work this way like Counter Strike etc… So if they have played those games before then bringing it to the console will not affect sales…
I see M.A.G. as a larger version of Counter Strike more than SoCom, even though Zipper is the company that created SoCom but they have moved beyond that franchise and the only connection is the company name…
i’ve seen the early screenshots and they looked good, but to see the game in motion… wow! just hope it doesn’t turn out to be a lag-fest. 256 players and graphics/animations that nice? i’m just saying. i’m sure i’m not the only one thinking that.
@Smokey – There is an english version and that’s the one I posted in the PSLS forums before this NEWS was even put up. It’s over on Joystiq.com if you want to check it out. EIther that or your local Theater in Playstation Home ENJOI!!!!!!
I’ve been waiting for this game since it was first shown last year. Just the premise of it is intriguing, but considering it’s going to be 32 teams of 8 men per, the potential is pretty huge. Most of us know how good, and smooth Resistance 2 runs for multi player.
Now, IF the programmers get it right, where there is minimal, if any type of lag, or glitches, it runs smoothly, and most importantly, does not hamper gameplay in any shape or form, Then it could seriously re define online gaming, and pave the way, for a totally brand new genre in online multi player gaming1 It would completely CHANGE the landscape of online multi player forever..
MY GOD I WANT TO PLAY, AND TEST THIS GAME OUT SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BAD …………… IT’S GONNA BE AWESOME! 1 bit.. it could be a actual breakthrough

@John – yah I put up the joystiq article, but your’s reads much better hahaha
That is amazing…256 players I still cant believe that it is like SOCOM on steroids.
This really looks visually amazing. first day buy for me.

For anyone wondering, at the end the words are in Dutch, it says
256 Players (That one could be assumed)
You Fight Up
Until You Conduct The Command
anyone who speaks dutch feel free to correct me, I just used online translators haha
@Sneeches.
Thanks! =]
@John – why did you put up a dutch version of the video? There is an english one out there? Just wondering….not that it really matters, lol

Looks pretty fun.
I just saw an English version, it’s up in the Home theater lol. It says:
256 players
unrivaled action
a massive new war is coming
@Bacon
I wouldn’t use that same translator again lol.
Good developer and great looking game. Day 1 purchase.
